Article: Romo to marry on Thanksgiving???

I came across this while surfing the web. I'm not sure how valid it is. I don't even see a date, but it's pretty interesting. It's probably bull because getting married on gameday would be absurd. Just thought I'd share it with everyone.

American Idol Winner Carrie Underwood looks gorgeous on the cover of Cosmo this month. And inside the pages of the womens magazine she talks about remaining focused with an overwhelming career, her recent weight loss and her hopes of finding a romantic relationship. Is that romantic relationship with Dallas Cowboys signal caller Tony Romo? And is it serious? Thats the claim from an item in the upcoming issue of Star Magazine.

That runs the opposite of her Cosmo interview. Carrie is adamant that she has so far been unlucky in love. Guys who would never look at me twice before might ask me out now, so I guess I have better opportunities, said Underwood in the May issue of Cosmopolitan. But when I do meet a guy, theres this Does he just want his picture in a magazine? factor.

The 24 year old Checotah, Oklahoma beauty added shes shy and horrible around guys, but still optimistic about finding Mr. Right. Im not saying I want to get married tomorrow, but Id like to have someone other than my mom to call when I have good news, Underwood says.

But Star reports that she may have that man to call. The magazine reports, after a short split last year, Carrie and Tony are bound for the altar. The report claims that the couple, who started dating soon after the Country Music Award winning singer appeared at a Cowboys game to sing the Star Spangled Banner on Thanksgiving Day in 2005, plan to marry on, what else, Thanksgiving. One side note the Cowboys play a pretty important game every Turkey Day so it must be a late night wedding.

Tonys family all loved Carrie and told him not to let this one get away, an insider gabs to the magazine. And hes not.

I agree, Yeag. The last thing he needs is more off-the-field publicity on game day. I mean, look at the way they blew the Christmas pre-game out of proportion. He was talking to her 3 hours before the game and the media just ran with it as if it happened just before the opening kickoff.

Romo needs to be reeled in a bit by the PR folks in Dallas. Last year he was an interview ***** and his name keeps coming up in all kinds of news. I would really like to see a little less of Tony off the field...too much, too soon.

I actually kind of agree with the media on this one -- the last thing Tony needed to be doing on game day was chasing tail. He sure played like he had something else on his mind that day...

Wasn't the "Carrie Underwood" game the Christmas game with the Eagles? I thought we got beat when she was there... hence the "his mind was on something else" contingent. On T'giving we beat the Bucs and Tony threw 5 TDs.
