Anybody who has played sports competitively should agree with me. When the game is on the line you give the ball to your best player. You dont throw it to your worst player "Terry Glenn", when he is double covered just like your best player is. I am talking about the last play of the game not the pass to Crayton. Crayton sure did choke, but Tony Romo did also. I know i won't win an argument here saying that, but its just my opinion.

And Glenn wasn't well covered? Cute. All im saying is i would rather throw it to Owens well covered than Glenn well covered. I dont need to see a video to know that. I guarantee if the Pats were in that situation Moss wouldve gotten the ball thrown to him regardless. But i know i know Romo is flawless around these parts. I saw him pull out miracles all year and he didn't do it when it mattered most. His decision making on that last play was very suspect. VERY!

Lets use your reasoning and look at it from the Giants perspective... if you were the Giants, who would you put your best players on in that situation?

He was throwing to the endzone, hopefully away from the most talented Giants, hoping his guy would come up with it.

Dude, what decision was he supposed to make?

It is freaking 4th down, no timeouts, and the G-men are covering the sideline and goalline routes. Glenn was covered, TO was covered, Witten was covered, you could check down to the RB and let the time expire I guess.

You do realize the only CORRECT DECISION in that situation is to throw it to the zone and hope your guy comes down with a jump ball. TO was not 100% with a bad ankle, how exactly is he supposed to come down with a jump ball on a jacked up ankle?

I love revisionist history:rolleyes:

TO>>>the Giants best players in their secondary so it really doesn't matter. Throw him the ball Tony! I'd feel alot better about the loss if we went out throwing it to the best option. Instead Tony Romo relied on Patrick Crayton and Terry Glenn to win us the game. How does that make you feel???????????

So because Owens dropped a ball earlier in the year means Romo shouldn't throw the ball to his top reciever with the season on the line? Good thinking. I saw Eli throw the ball to Plaxico to score their last touchdown against the Patriots. But i guess Plax never dropped a clutch ball either. Giants are the champs because Eli gave the ball to his top playmaker when it mattered. Romo tried to give the ball to the LEAST affective player we had on the field that today. BRILLIANT!

um... Crayton would have been open on that play if he didn't hesitate so you're basically saying he shouldn't throw to the open WR..? ok that makes sense,..

You do realize our best player had a jacked up ankle and admitted after the game he could barely run or jump during the game because of the severe pain, yet he sucked it up because it was the playoffs.

Anybody who has played sports competitively should know that if your best player is "playing hurt", you should look to other teammates to fill the void.

I have played sports competitively. And your analysis that TR choked in that game displays a great of deal of ignorance regarding football.

But that's just my opinion.

And that of anyone else I've met that watched the game.

The pass to Crayton, was perfect. PERFECT...... PERFECT!

It's not Tony Romo choking if Crayton stops running. He read the defense perfectly, he threw the ball perfectly. I can look back and say all day long, "he should have never thrown the ball towards Crayton" but I know how the play turns out now. When he threw the ball, as it was happening, I was ready to jump out of my chair and scream "Touchdown!"......

TO was going to covered big time on that last possession, TO knew that, Romo knew that, the whole freaking coaching staff knew that. Romo did the smart move and didn't try to force it to TO.

If you're continuing your asinine argument that Romo choked, just because of one 4th down toss up ball.... then you obviously don't understand the concept of just throwing the ball up, hoping for a miracle.

The reason the ball was thrown to Crayton is because he toasted the scurb corner right off the line. Ever think the reason Crayton was single covered was because TO and Witten were drawing doubles?

Again, basic understanding of coverages is essential in player evaluation.

The QB IS SUPPOSED to throw the ball to the guy with single coverage, that is called progressions. If Romo drops back and sees TO double covered, Witten getting mugged coming off the line (G-men were doing this all game), and Crayton in single coverage and he just blew past the scrub corner that was on him.

If my QB in that situation throws the ball to anybody but Crayton I am probably benching him.

99 times out of 100 that play is an easy TD.......what could have been:mad:

I LOVE ME SOME ME= the ultimate TO athletic supporter straddler! What he's trying to say is that Owens is ALL WORLD and Romo choked by not throwing it to him EVERY DOWN OF EVERY SERIES of that game! This guy hates any WR not named Terrell and the fact that he's saying "if he'd had thrown it to TO while he was covered on that last play then Dallas would've been hosting GB the next weekend" pretty much sums up his mindset! You may as well :bang2: ...it's easier than getting your point across to him!

I already said Crayton choked on that pass to the endzone, but i still think Romo choked on the last play of the game for relying on Terry Glenn to take us to victory. I will rephrase my words. Romo didn't choke he just made a horrible decision to throw the ball to Terry Glenn. 2 Giants on Owens, 2 on Glenn. I know who i wouldve thrown my pray towards. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this, I can't be.

The Cowboys are still a step or two ahead of the Eagles because they have more offensive fire power. Head-to-head, though, I would favor the Birds in a big game against Dallas. Romo still hasn't proven he can win a big game.

Yo G Cobb!

Your quarterback is Donovan freakin' McNabb!!!!

The guy perfected choking!

In fact, he took it to a new level!
