ARTICLE: This time ESPN has gone too far

BSPN believes it is the most important thing on the screen. For that reason alone, they'll try almost anything once.

Remember their "drama" ventures? Attempting to be HBO with movies and series.

As long as people keep watching it, they'll keep trying this crap.

ESPN is a huge load of steaming bull manure!

They are agenda driven leftist that peddle their views through a "sports" channel.

They should stay out of politics and stick to the games.....

Right on, man!!! I say we all show up and streak!!!!! Right across the set!

Hell, they could have us do it every Thursday!!

Isn't that what ESPN Classic is for?
That channel actually use to be a really good channel before ESPN bought out MSG who originally owned it.
You use to see Jordan's greatest games, great boxing matches, historic baseball games, college football's best games and even a great tennis match between Borg and Mcenroe.
Now...Poker,pro bowling, stupid crap like ESPN made shows about the greatest record in sports or the greatest Super Bowl team...I mean it's so opposite of what that channel use to be. It's a shame.
I mean who really likes this stupid crap they are shoveling out about "Who is now?" on ESPN sportscenter these days?

Look up ESPN and you will find "an abbreviation of Entertainment and Sports Programming Network." It may not all be good entertainment or all good sports. That is why I don't watch that much of the channel.

It's Eastern. Everyone has this wrong.

Glad I'm not the only one.

Can someone please tell me when Poker actually became a sport?

What's next? Checkers? Dominos?

Too late. They had the World Series of Dominoes last year. Chess is next.

For a quick second, I took the "Rock Paper Scissors" championship thing seriously. Wouldnt surprise me one bit though.

Yep, I was thinking "Vegas here I come" as this pretty blond approached me in the bar (Snowmobiling in the Adirondacks last Winter) offering to by me a Bud.

She asked me if I was interested in joining the "Rock Paper Scissors" competetition with a chance to go to the championships in Vegas. I thought "this is my chance" and killed the competition in the 1st round, well actually the guy never showed up so I won by forfiet. Grandma Jones beat me in the 2nd round, though I won the first play. Hint, never do rock 3 times in a row.

I figured if I wore a Cowboys Jersey in the finals in Vegas you folks might tune in and watch, Damn that Grandma Jones !

:lmao2:

Poker, Pool, Darts, NASCAR, are by no means sports - they are things that unathletic men can become talented at. Its pathetic on a Sunday afternoon when you have the choice between Bass Fishing and Hold Em. Disgusting.

Like someone said in another thread, they have lost sight of what made them special.

Why not include golf? All you have to do is swing a club then drive a cart/walk to your ball and hit it again.

A lot more to it than that. I have played that game since I was 7 and still not close to mastering it. Currently I hold a 5 handicap but it takes constant practice.
