I doubt he'd really retire. He's only 31 years old. Still has some left in him. Plus, last year was one of his best seasons.

I think you're missing the point. He isn't contemplating retirement because he thinks he is too old or is losing his skills, he is doing it because he has other interests and so he has a chance to leave the game without having to live out his life with the kinds of physical problems many long time players suffer with. Unlike many athletes he doesn't consider his playing days to be the pinnacle of his life, so he won't have as much difficulty walking away.

I always liked the barber boys, even though Tiki is a giant, he is still one of those nice guys where you can't hate him.
