it KILLS me to see Crabtree wearing a 9ers hat/jersey, but I guess it's better than him wearing a Giants, Skins or Eagles jersey.

For Crabtree's sake, it's better he's a 49er than a Raider. He should actually consider himself lucky... out of Cleveland, Oakland, and SF, the 49ers give him the best chance to be successful.

I'm glad he's a 9er instead of a Raider. At least he has a shot now and a good coach.

Look at it this way. At SF, Crabtree will have a built-in excuse for his inevitable slide into sparedom.

Easier for him to blame his lack of production on those around him, rather than his mediocrity as an NFL talent.

I don't care if we never hear of him again, him wrenching the National Championship out of Austin makes him my favorite Red Raider ever.

But I bet he'll be fine.
