If you could have your way every week,, when would Dallas play?

Early Sunday
Late Sunday
Sunday Night
Monday night

I like the Sunday night game. Gives me a chance to watch all the games during the day, Cook out some dogs before kickoff ,, get the kids ready for bed,, and then just sit back and enjoy. I like monday night too, but hate the announcing crew so that drops it to the #2 spot.

Late Sunday if it is televised here. Sunday night or MNF if the late game is not televised here. I miss the early games. So if it is on early I have to tape the games and watch them when I get home.

I agree. Early Sunday games are awful, you are barely awake and its too early to start drinking. Thats for me atleast.

Ha! You need to move to the eastern time zone my freind. Those 1pm games are GREAT! Its a perfect time to start drinking, and you're usually done (or passed out if you prefer) before it gets too late...plenty of sleep and no hangover. :D

Early Sunday. If they win you have a whole day to be happy, and if they lose you have a whole day to lement and get over it, instead of late games were you so mad you can't sleep. just my take

Yeah, it's usually a 4PM Eastern start against Washington. Which if it was this time, I can watch the game. As it stands, the game isn't televised here in NJ.

BTW, first post.

Agree 100%. Losing a night game is horrible. I can't sleep for hours and am miserable and tired the next day.

You would really hate watching in Hawaii then, JSNTTO. At the beginning of the season, I get up and watch the pre-game show at 6 a.m. then the 1st game at 7 a.m. The 2nd game comes on at 10 and the Sunday Night game is at 2 or 2:30 MNF comes on at 3 p.m. now that it's on ESPN. It's all one hour later now that you folks have rolled the clocks back an hour. We don't have daylight savings time in Hawaii.

When ABC had MNF our local affiliate tape delayed the broadcast until 6:30 p.m. I had to avoid all news, the CowboysZone, all ESPN and NFL channel broadcasts unless I wanted to know how the game turned out before I ever got to watch it. That sucked. So even though I don't like the MNF announcers, I love the fact that it's on cable TV, not a local channel.

Paniolo, Tass and you other Hawaii residents or prior residents; did you like the change of MNF to ESPN?

That would stink, waking up at 6:30AM on Sundays. Leaving on the East Coast is ideal except for the late night games. WHen the MNF games were on ABC and it was a 9PM start, the games wouldn't end 'till 12 or 12:30. I remember the Cowboys/Skins 9-7 game went close to 1AM.

I kind of like it myself. I'm not a big beer drinker so sitting there with my steaming cup of cappuccino suits me just fine. But I know most guys probably wouldn't like it.

I live in Dallas so I get the game no matter when its televised.

I like the evening games.. last season would have been Monday night and this season Sunday nights are better. Theesman and the ESPN crew are just annoying and terrible at broadcasting the games.
The only bad part about that is that the suspense of waiting for the game is longer than the sunday early games.

i'm just the opposite because if we win a late game or a monday nighter, and we play well, I can't sleep because i'm too wired up. After the Carolina game, I went to bed a bit after 2 am. I was too wired up after the game ended then i listened to the postgame shows on the radio and they stay on til almost midnite on The Ticket. Worse part is I have a 5:30 wakeup call during the week.:(

Like on Monday that, that game and all that craft beer had me pumped up.

I prefer the sunday afternoon games since I can enjoy some good grub but the early games are good because at least there is no chance I will miss part of the game because the previous one ran into overtime.

Gotta take my wife to work at 2 tomorrow...hopefully halftime is a little late. I won't be able to make it there and back without missing a play, but I can Tivo a few minutes I guess. Enjoy it more watching it live. I think I prefer the late afternoon games best. The night games are ok, but the wait is too long. It's all bright and sunny during the early games, and for some reason that just makes it seem more drab on TV. I like the atmosphere of the later games, starts with daylight, but not too bright and slowly progresses into darkness. They just seem like bigger games (I know, they usually are).
