is going down... lol.

We might be able to pick up players like how we got La'Roi Glover for cheap that one year.

We got him on the 12th of the month. We're on the 3rd and there are still a lot of players available. Next week will probably be where free agents start panicking.

5 of the top 10 yahoo sports' top 100 free agents are still available.

there is still a laundry list of free agents out there

Safeties
Jermaine Phillips
Darren Sharper
Sean Jones
Lawyer Milloy
Eugene Wilson

Corners
Bryant McFadden
Jabari Greer
Phillip Buchanon
Drayton Florence
Chris McAlister
Corey Ivy

Bold = the player im looking at us getting

I like Jones. I wouldn't mind McFadden or someone from that list just for depth purposes if we don't get Springs.

I think we're kind of testing the waters at corner. We've already got rid of Henry, but we haven't signed anyone to replace him.

That tells me we're waiting to see the market it play itself out.

We've signed two linebackers. To replace Burnett and Thomas, and I still think we'll end up drafting in inside linebacker.

We haven't picked up Olshansky, and that tells me that either we don't want him or we're waiting for his price to come down.

I think Glover was actually released, not an official free agent.

official free agent? what does that mean? lol

he was released for cap reasons, he was still a pro bowl caliber player at that point and no one was denying it.

we got him for cheap

I'm just glad that we're showing restraint and waiting to fill in some needs with cheaper options instead of trying to pay superstar money to every position.

I think a guy like Florence is definitely out of Dallas' price range.

The Cowboys will be looking for depth, not a starter and they will price accordingly.

Springs is who I'd like for corner depth. None of those safeties I'd shake a stick at. Eugene Wilson has just taken a dump from 2 years ago. He looked pretty darn good back then though. Guess I'd take him for depth. Eventhough Watkins is 500K I say get rid of him. Ship him to Parcy for a 6th. Sick of guys who don't know how to tackle and get a neck stinger every time they do on this team.

Wilson just snagged a deal did he? Guess I should forget about him. Florence will be too expensive and SD wants him back in their life. Rather honestly keep Roy if we could get his base to 30% more than the veteran minimum. He keeps his guarantees of course. Then we go draft a cover safety in the 3rd. Maybe a large corner who tackles well that we could convert.

Good point. Except for Dan Snyder, buyers are behaving pretty cautiously so sellers (players and their agents) very well may have to lower their asking prices.

Sean Jones is the only one I want. let the Chargers have Florence back so we can trade for Cromartie...;):D

I don't get how the deeper free agency gets..the price goes down???

Won't players see their market value getting signed and want that too as a starting point?

I wouldn't mind Darren Sharper to come in and groom a draft pick, either.

They'd want it but they'd know, by that point, that all the big spenders were out of the running and the teams who waited it out aren't giving them those kind of deals.

So they either sign for a more cap friendly deal, to a team offering, or they don't get signed.

Once those big spenders are off the market for guys at certain positions then the remaining guys have nothing to use as leverage to get a big deal.

What BraveHeartFan said but I would add that the agents are letting owners and GMs know the ranges their clients are willing to sign for. Time passing w/o offers then is bad news by definition for players as nobody is biting on their salary demands.
