As good as advertised

I am not sure any team can live up to the hype this team is getting.

I hope we win though.

If Felix Jones gets 10 or more offensive plays a game I think we will exceed expectations.

I'm skeptical. I'm a Dallas resident and i've pretty much put our Boys in the same category as the Mavs where nothing we do in the regular season will impress me. It's time to do it in January. Another 13-3 record just does nothing for me.

Is Crayton still our number 2?

This team will be good but there are holes that will be exposed (that way with every team), no hole bigger than that mans mouth though...so thats I pretty good sign....I think...I don't know its late.

Cowboys in my view clearly have the talent to win it all. Nothing is for sure but if they go out and play to their ability I think they can take it all the way

Does nothing for you???? Like Romo said it's about the journey! Are you telling me you don't enjoy the regular season? To me it's all about every game, whether we are playing the crappy Dolphins or playing the Giants. It's about football. The playoff's are icing. I do agree we need to win one, but's it's not like the NBA that has the 82 game beatdown. If we go 16-0 I know it won't matter to a lot of you guys if we don't win a playoff game, it will to me also, but it will be one heck of a ride enjoying all the moments and awesome plays we get to see on the field. What can I say...I love football.

Every year I have the expectations of reaching a Super Bowl...this year is really no different than any other for me :)

What scares me about this team is Wade's tendency to become less than aggressive in his second and third years as a head coach; but, there's more.

What really scares me is if this team can gel as a team, and play as the Cowboys. What that means is that we can't have guys out there for their own interests, and not willing to make sacrifices for the team.

The group almost has a "mercenary" feel to it. Hired guns. Guys that came from all other teams, and have their own ways of doing things.

You have big Leonard Davis, who can run over anyone. Flozell was always ours. In the defensive backfield, there's already trouble brewing between Jones and the regulars. Zach Thomas is going to take someones place at some point in time, and on the offense, Felix Jones may very well prove to be the true number one pick in the draft.

While we are loaded with talent, it's going to take a combined love for the Commitment to excellence that has made the Cowboys the number one franchise in NFL history for this team to gel.

That being said- it's gonna be hard to stop them.

And, while some don't agree- I think Patrick Crayton is not the best wide reciever to be our number two guy, and that's gonna hurt us.

Just my opinion.

Good and interesting post. Out of interest, who do you think should be #2?
