and Free Agency is still in full swing, and then the April cuts...does anyone know what the average age of each team in the NFCE is?
I know the Boyz have Bledsoe...the RedStinks have Brunell, and the Ain'ts have the young one....at the QB position.
The reason I ask this is because there are so many of you guys/gals that do some serious research on players...I just wondered if anyone knew who has the youngest team so far?
Age does bring experience, but, it also brings,well...age! And I've heard Coach Madden, and Coach Jimmy Johnson, among other Coaches, say that football is a young mans game. After awhile, these vets get slower and more injury prone, not to mention, money wise, maybe, not as hungry?
Youth does have the inexperience, but, youth, and the desire to to make the big money, and the relative healthy young bodys that can play football...?
I read the book, "When The Tuna Went Down To Texas", and he states in that book that he always has a ratio of 20% vets, and 80 % youth to make up his football teams...
This a reason that I think the draft is SO IMPORTANT! I just don't think that you can go out and bring all kinds veteran players that are not so young anymore, and expect to have a LONG TERM succesful team...
Anyone know who the youngest team is?
It's exciting to be old! It's exciting to be young!
