(and I said this before their win this past weekend), the Cowboys have a lot to learn from their players. If our team collectively played with the same heart, determination and intelligence that guys like B. Dawkins, Westbrook, and (yes!) McNabb play with, we'd be super bowl champs.

The Eagles are playing with about 2/3 the talent that we have, just as many injuries, the same schedule, yet they are now one of the final four teams in the NFC. I wouldn't be surprised if they are the 2008 version of last year's Giants and go all the way.

I hope Jerry is watching (and suffering) along with the rest of his fans.

I won't disagree with you, but I will say that we did play with that same heart and smarts in some must win games like TB and NY.

Let's not forget that this is the same team that showed no heart, smarts, or discipline in a tie against Cinncinnatti that resulted in McNabb being the joke of the league for a few weeks because he didn't know overtime could end in a tie.

It's also the same team that had a great coach bench a great player for a nobody backup who was even worse, resulting in media bashing and assumptions that neither the coach nor the QB would return to Philly and certainly both couldn't co-exist.

Funny how a couple of wins changes everything...a perfect lesson that the media, whether we like it or not, controls what we hear and how we feel about things due to their ridiculous slants on everything.

Let's also not forget that Dallas went from the joke of the league back to many media guys' playoff favorites after defeating the Giants.

It's a week-to-week and what have you done for me lately league.

Right now, Wade, Jerry, and Jason are all idiots...Romo is a dufus...TO is a cancer...and no one has any heart.

Next season, the same team could go 13-3 again, like last season, add at least one playoff win, and suddenly the Cowboys will be called the team to look out for again.

Book it...:D ...not that they'll do it, but that the fans and media are that fickle.

I'd keep McNabb out of it. He's just playing with fear because their turnaround started when Reid BENCHED Mcnabb. That's what woke that team up. And I'm not ready to put all of Dallas' problems on Wade Phillips because you can't fault him when he gets the defense to do a turnaround but the offense fails. How come one side of the ball played for him and the other didn't? Wade went wrong only in that he did not bench anybody. I was hoping he would've benched T.O. when Garrett didn't have the cohonas to do so, as I posted in early December that Garrett should do so.

I wouldn't start swooning just yet. For all our problems, even we could have hung with the Vikings yesterday, considering their impostor at the QB position. Beat the Giants and I'll be impressed

Book it

Any team that goes 13-3 regardless of the past will always be a team to look out for.

If McNabb never fell asleep at the wheel that team could be amazing every year.

They are one heck of a team.

Thats why I was hoping Philly would be dumb enough to fire Andy Reid and trade McNabb.

The day those 2 things happen is a day that Cowboy fans should celebrate.

The Giants aren't the same team without Plaxico Burress, the before and after story for them is obvious. They are very beatable and could go down on Sunday.

The Cowboys are an underachieving team with big talent and poor coaching. Sad to say, the 2003 team with Quincy Carter and Troy Hambrick had more wins and would probably beat the 2008 version hands down with a much inferior team.

The Eagles are an overachieving team with an aging core making one last run. They snuck into the playoffs with a group that included two 8-8 teams, two teams starting rookie quarterbacks and a terrible Vikings squad. They might even beat the Giants, but they sure won't go all the way.

The moral of ANY Eagles story is....

they will fail. Maybe not in 1st playoff game or 2nd or 3rd... but when all else fails.... so do they in.... SB.

Are you high? Eagles beat us 44-6! We couldn't hang around a high school team.

I'm not belittling what they did to us. I just think that any NFC East team would fare well against Minny.

We are not as talented as some people think we are. That's the biggest problem. We had a bunch of guys voted to the Pro bowl a year ago that had no business going, and the media trumped us up to be some talented team that we are not.

We are what our record said we are, a third placed team.
