Any of you that have digital cable, check your messages under menu. It says may be removed on or around May 1.

I think if I'm not mistaken, Comcast wants it part of the basic tier but the NFL wants to charge for it.

Been there done that and it sucked

It had more to do with the dish location than anything.

I'd lose signal if a bird pissed on the dish.

It's the other way around. The NFL wants it on basic cable, but Comcast feels the NFL charges too much for the channel to justify the cost to all of its customers paying for a niche channel.

Yeah....signal problems are from the mid to late 90's. I never have problems with my direct tv and ive had some nasty weather. Directv is the only way to go. Especially with the Sunday Ticket, I've had that package since it came out and its the greatest thing ever. Couldnt live without it. Between that and my TiVo for backing up and to do my own replays is great. The NFL and Directv just signed an extension too on the Sunday NFL Ticket Package through 2014 also!

The ticket was great when I had it but I dropped it when the games that were shown on local tv were blacked out on the ticket channels. They show all of the Dallas games locally where I live so why pay $250 to $300 a year for local tv.

It's the opposite.

Comcast's view on this just boggles my mind. I mean, really? You'll give me 50 channels I don't give a crap about yet still have to pay for, but act like you're doing me some favor by standing up for the customer against the mean ol' NFL.

Bah.

Edit - I have Time Warner, but it's the same argument.
