As of Today, Which Player Do We Draft Round 1?

No player I really want is falling to 26.
Mayer is the only TE I want in the first round .I would rather have Gibbs.
My hope of Robinson falling is fading.

It's hard to say. I think we need an offensive weapon; just not sure it's TE.

Jerry likes splashes, so Robinson at RB, or a big time WR (that kid from Ohio State) or TE(Kincaid). Or maybe Quinn goes edge to pair with Parsons.

Whatever choice is made will be HEAVILY criticized and ENDLESSLY debated.

imo he will be the 1st TE drafted well before 26.we might have to settle for Washington .

I think Cowboys trade up to get Christian Gonzalez.


He looks like a sure- fire can't miss CB. Our biggest weakness is finding a starter opposite Diggs. I believe Anthony Brown is finished with that Achilles tear. I like DaRon Bland but not sure he is ready to be the starter full time.

If we stay put at 26 probably O' Cyrus Torrance from Florida.

I'm going to guess Felix-Anudike Uzoma.

I think we will run more or less 3-4 type sets, and he fits the OLB role, and you can maybe move him around some on defense.

Off-the-wall pick, sure, but I'm going to say the Cowboys have him as the best player on their board.

I'm sure we will all change our thoughts as we move closer.
I know I have.
This seams to be a very difficult draft to figure out.
With a change of offensive direction - sort of, getting our first rounder right is a huge need. Unless a good CB somehow drops to us, ( and the need for a good one is def. Needed) it will be an offensive player.
I'm not for trading for a WR in free agency, too expensive - OBJ. Too much capital and cost - Hopkins, and Age. But there are other FA, like Chalk etc who would be a good pickup.
I want Dallas to stop moving Smith back and forth from guard to tackle and back again. If he's our future at LT, keep him there, stop stunting his development by making him move around.
So I keep coming back to LG or LT.
Which ever way they go it should be a starter that makes the offense better. If we pick up a FS WR. That would eliminate a TE at 26.
I feel less confident this year how the draft will play out than most years, but I do trust Mc Clay. Will be on the edge of my seat with all the decisions our FO has to make between now and the draft.
Generally like our direction as a team. But the Joneses can screw that up pretty easily.
