This exemplifies the problems of having your players look into the sun during games: In all regular season and postseason games since it opened in 2009, the Cowboys are 29-29 at AT&T in afternoon games. But, the Cowboys are 48-25 in noon and evening games.
That can’t be an accident. Proof the Sun in afternoon games has been an issue.
And since JJ again defended his “no curtain” rule on his weekly radio show, no one can EVER say again that Jerry wants to win more than anyone. Ha! He doesn’t even want to create conditions to help his team win in his own stadium!
Yeah he's delusional to fully understand home field advantage.
+ Being in a stadium where the sound funnels to the field and can make the visiting team feel the 12th man IS and advantage.
+ Understanding how to play in the cold because you live there and practice knowing what to do and what not to do during the game IS an advantage.
x Having the sun blind anyone on the field at any given time and not planning for it or understanding how to combat it, IS NOT an advantage. Never has been.
No one cares about the feeling of playing outdoors but not being outdoors.
In replaying CeeDee's play where he couldn't see, it's so obvious there was NO way he could have made that an advantage against the defense unless the field was on a swivel and could be turned at any given time during the game to have the other team face the sun. Even then, the qb would then be at a disadvantage
. It was always a dumb design for the actual game of football.
