As usual, Jerry and company are bystanders in FA

What’s worse, they are absolutely bottom of the barrel stupid on how they manage the cap, the very thing they moan about constantly.

What I mean is they waste so much money sitting on their hands waiting to sign someone they KNOW they want to sign. Meanwhile as they wait, the price goes up.

These clowns knew they wanted to sign Parsons last year. They could have been proactive and signed him for $35 mil a year but once again - like they did with Cedee Lamb and Dak (even though I wish they had not signed him)

But they chose to wait and in all cases and as the laws of good NFL front offices cou,d teach them, waiting always costs MORE.

WAITING IS LOSING. These guys waste so much money then whine about the cap they mismanage. One word: Incompentent.
100% Lewis is a good example, is he a world beater NO, does losing him without an equal to better option on the field hurt this team YES! your telling me Lewis wouldn't have signed a 3 for 25 last week? i dont believe you Jerry!!!!

They learn nothing.

Would anyone be surprised if Parsons doesn't get extended until say July or August? He was basically begging for a deal a few weeks ago and nothing.

Jerry is dumb and his son is dumber. But they are filthy rich so the only people that really suffer from their stupidity is us, the fans.
And think about it…if I’m Parsons’ agent, there’s no way I have my client risking injury in mini-camps or training camp while this ridiculous Jones process plays out.

This is a laughable clown show of incompetence.

Hahahaha.

If this board had a dime for every time someone posted some version of this, it would be the most valuable website on the planet.
I'm all for complaining about them doing nothing...when the time is right.

A few hours in, and doing what the majority of the teams have done so far...not the right time.

Perfect example of how idiotic these guys are in FA.

They need help at the 1T. Poona Ford is sitting out there. He would be an upgrade in the rotation. The Rams have Brown who is decent but deemed not good enough. They target a guy to improve that in Ford. Get him for a reasonable deal.

Cowboys don't target guys. They wait. And then sift through what's leftover because it saves them money. And that's why they have holes every single year.

I agree that patience is needed. But when a fan base has had three decades of this it rings hollow to ask.
We are talking 3 hours into a day. Not 2 weeks. A little perspective goes a long way. Last year we signed Kendricks day 4, clearly a solid signing for the team.

It's the perfect time. Because their inaction early shows they are likely following the same plan as previous years.

Don't be fooled again by them.

What’s sad about things here though is that most posters are more interested in competing to be be “first” with a complaint, and the daily flow becomes a race to the bottom in post quality and content.

It’s tiresome.

Kendricks was an OK signing. Let's not act like his signing was some sort of deviation from their normal cheapness and stupidity in FA.

They should have been all over guys like Kinlaw and Ford at DT. Because they have a CLEAR NEED at DT.

Nothing.

I never thought 20 years ago my NHL team would be more competent than the Dallas Cowboys.
They went aggressive, won the cup last year, and may repeat this year.

Meanwhile Dallas just is comfortable on the treadmill.

It's not about being first with a complaint.

It's about recognizing the reality that this franchise doesn't seem to care all that much about winning, instead caring more about managing the bottom line.

It's the same discussions every year and you guys all say the same things and eventually get burned. And then the next year, come back saying the same things to only get burned again (and likely burned again this spring).

I'll be delighted to be wrong.

LOL you suckers say the same thing every year. Then in the middle of the first week, you say it's only the first week. Then the second week rolls around and you start claiming it's only the second week.

And then we get to like late April and May and we've signed a barrel of rusted bolts and you guys get quiet and then ramp up to say the same things in spring 2026.
the fact anyone actually believed this year would be different says more about the fan base than it does the FO at this point.

do you think these reported deals wont get signed? Is our FO going behind these and counteroffering? i get what your saying but it has started if FA players are agreeing to deals when they actually sign doesnt matter.
Who cares? Everyone says we won't win anything as long as Jerry is in charge anyway so why do you care who we sign?

What do you mean "bystanders"?
They signed a long snapper for Pete's sake. We are rolling!! Superbowl!!!!!

good

hope they go 0-17 and the entire world turn on jerry and stephen

hope they lose every game until jerry is gone and he go out like the bozo idiot he is

Because its a slap in the face to the fan base. The front office is quite literally trolling the fan base and there are people here going up for seconds like Oliver Twist.

is it unusual? no exactly the same as past few years...past decade if you ask me.

Kinlaw just signed with Washington, for 3 years 45M...wouldn't that solidify the middle of the line. and 15M is not much in this day and age....

I am so sick and tired of the jones circus boys
The first wave of FA is usually filled with teams overpaying for JAGS

why cant you sign tier 2 and 3 free agents today?
the reason they are tier 2 and 3 is bc their demand is lower and their asking price comes down...you sign them today you pay more than they are merriting, its the different phases of FA, thas all

Yeah, Kinlaw. 15 mill per. He may have shed the bust label a bit but he's still not very good.
