Asante Samuel's Worth?

Too much money. The Broncos should surrender their 4th round pick for Samuel. They seem to be liking the older folks lately.:lmao2:

Ha! I just won 5 bucks. I bet another poster that before the draft this thread by this poster was going to happen.

Besides the contract, Asante is not a physical, press corner so don't think Rob wants to deal with that again this year.

Isn't there a rumor the Stancos offered either their 5th or 6th? He would fit right in since the Stancos are hiring older folks as of late.:lmao2:

How about giving up a 4th to the Iggles?
Too expensive, on the wrong side of 30, and hates contact...not good combinations

No. Just that RCF posts a thread suggesting we get every player who has a big name.

Ahhh ok...I thought signing big names was the MO of the eagles? It makes them feel elite without having to earn it.

Not to mention that our history shows that we create big names as opposed to signing them.

Why don't teams just wait until he's released then sign him to a reasonable contract without having to give up a pick?

id rather roll with Jenk, Carr, Scan and draft another with one of first 3 picks....
