A few things:
- Well spoken young man
- Seems like he "gets it"
- Patterns himself after Marshon Lynch, Sequon and A. Kamara...for what it's worth.
- Gruden compares him to...drumroll...Emmitt Smith

Personally I don't see where he is that great, but I'm willing to be convinced otherwise

Kid is special. Was Walter Payton any different because he played at Jackson State? He had a ok career in the NFL lol

We’re Rico squeezed through for 6 maybe Jeanty goes off for 15 . It’s what separates ordinary backs from upper echelon. I personally don’t think he would stumble behind the Cowboys line . Dowdle had almost 1100 yards how many can you add to that total .

And if he’s gone by 12 do you take the bigger back the North South Hampton to implement Schottenheimer 101. Need 2 backs having lost Dowdle , Williams is not the compliment back don’t think so .

Exactly. He just needs a sliver of daylight and he can go.

I think Gruden & Mayock would have turned Vegas around . Now it’s an endless carousel of coaching changes. Is he working for Barstool now ?

Mayock does games on the radio during the season the “ analyst “ seat . He’s as good as Kurt Warner in cutting to the chase getting to the point . Not like TV talkers

Kid almost beats an unbeatable Barry record and posters say “I don’t know why he’s so great?”…….
Stats matter, but they are only part of the equation. I watched him in games and highlights and I was not very impressed. If he is as you say he is - "Barryesque" - why is everyone waiting until 10 to draft him? Because the eye test does not scream "Barry". I hope that helps.

I do think he is talented for sure. My opinion on him isn't hardened...

I will say that he's deceptively fast. He just seems to outrun people routinely. I think given Sequon's season and the fact that they won the SB mostly running...a lot of teams will think about the risky/expensive QB market and start to look to build around a strong running game. RBs might make a come back which means this guy doesn't make it to 12.

If anyone watched Emmitt they wouldn’t walk away and say he’s great, but his durability, instincts, and skills put together as a package made him great.
