Executive 1: N.C. State S Josh Jones
"For some reason Jones didn't get much attention during the season, but he has first-round ability. I think he'll definitely go in the top 40 picks and it wouldn't be crazy for some team to take him late in the first round."

Executive 2: East Carolina WR Zay Jones
"Zay Jones has crushed the postseason. He was one of the best players in Mobile (Senior Bowl) and he ran much faster than expected at the combine (4.45 40). He could sneak into the first round."

Executive 3: UConn S Obi Melifonwu
"I don't think many people thought the UConn safety could go this high during the fall. It wouldn't shock me at all if he landed in the first round."

Executive 4: USC CB Adoree' Jackson
"I'll say Adoree' Jackson. Yeah, he's short, but I love his confidence, character and explosive athleticism. That dude is a playmaker."

Executive 5: Washington CB Kevin King
"I liked him more than most guys but I never saw this spike coming. Also, my bonus name is Davis Webb. It wouldn't surprise me if someone traded into the back end of the first to take him."

I can see us taking any one of those DB's honestly. King or Jones would be my preference if the board is empty. I hope we'd try like hell to trade down before taking 1 of these guys in the 1st though.

The comparison I saw on Jackson from one anonymized scout was Darrell Green. I can see it. There were several times Jackson showed up on film coming from the opposite side of the field and chasing down a long run to prevent the TD, like Green did on Dorsett.

But I'm also really wary when the best comparisons is with a player from 20-30 years ago. Doesn't really suggest we're working with the greatest odds.

I'd feel better about Adoree if he covered as well as he returned kick and ran go routes.

You draft an Adoree Jackson to play subs amd ST's as a rookie and develop him as a cover corner to be a top 2. That will come, but he isnt a guy you look to be one of your top 2's in 2017. The secondary coachs did a solid job working with what they last year. A guy like Adoree they can turn into a top notch CB. I think he has a much higher cieling then any CB that will be there at 28

Jourdan Lewis is my first round surprise but it is contingent on the allegations against him going away.

I have long thought his play outpaced his ranking.
