Ive got Thursday-Sunday off......this is one of the best times of the year to me.....got me a bottle of Hennessy and a couple sixers of shiner, along with a case of milwaukee beast for when im already hella drunk and dont care what im drinkin no more lol.......also gonna make my own INfamous rotel dip and have nachos and smothered burritos the whole weekend.......Wife knows to leave me alone for those 3 days, will make up for it on Sunday though lmao......Monday is what I dread, hungover, back to work and now nothing football related til TC starts in 3 months, I couldnt care less about OTA/Mini-Camps bla bla bla......just another chance for season ender injuries......but until then....its the most wonderful time of the year!! haha....

Switch out your shiner, for some Blood & Honey and this is how my draft week looks like.

I'm taking the fam to cowboys stadium for the draft party.

I was trying to get some people together to go, but they are just not fun, as I told them.
One guy said he wasn't going to pay the price for the beer. I told him then just don't drink. so he says, any bars doing a draft party, I said why do you need to drink at one...LOL...then just have it here. At the place we were at.....so he can biatch about prices there...LOL...

Don't have to ask if you own the business :)

Yep, sure don't, sure is nice isn't it...or retired...unless I decide to take a few short term positions.
Sold my business a few years back...still have a vested interest in it. But everything on my terms.

Anyone else share this pain?....What you guys doing different and what's on the watch party food and beverage list?

I'm 48 and still a little kid when this day comes...it's a sickness.

I'm self-employed right now, lol, so I'm just going to work at home and answer emails. I'll turn off the business line early :D

As usual, I'll have to make sure my phone is fully charged so I can halfway know what's going on while I'm at work.

You boys better be on point in the live draft results thread.

Well, when I get off work I'll be able to watch the start of the draft. No need to ask for a day off.

I totally respect your decision to take off but I usually work nights during the draft (since it went to prime time). I'd never take off for it, the money is to good.

I'm probably a bit older than most of you guys (58), but I still get all fired up about it. This year, however, I'm taking my wife to the coast for the weekend. I get just as much excitement out of listening to the draft on the radio as I would watching it on the tube. We'll be on the road Thursday night, so I'll be going back and forth between The Cowboys' App and Sirius Radio while on the road, then I'll not be without my headphones whether I'm on the beach or in the condo.

You and me both! I'll be on a flight to Boston for a wedding.

Off from Wed-Sun. And better yet, the wife is on a cruise with family. 3 days of draft craziness with no interruptions. Lol.

I'll work Thursday and Friday because I'll get out of work by talking draft with my boss. He's a Browns fan who's never wavered, somehow...

Each year I get two PTO that I'm allowed to designate as a religious holiday.

Each year I choose the first two days of the NFL draft.

Ist't the 1st amendment wonderful?
