Assuming Bledsoe plays on Monday...

Whoa whoa whoa wait a minute! What's wrong with the dink and dunk passes?! Those passes netted us a full 13 POINTS, thank you very much!

So long Bledsoe, it was nice knowin' ya!

Unfortunately, the general rule to win consistently in the NFL is this(according to Parcells). The team needs to score 24+ points and the defense needs to hold the other team under 21 points. There won't be too many games where the offense can score 13 points (against primarily 2nd stringers) and end up with a W.

Yeah, and hopefully the Boys won't be running out there with rookies or 2nd year players for wide receivers and linemen.

I think if anything, Bledsoe can now see that he has someone breathing down his neck. I'd like to see Bledsoe get rid of the ball quicker this year, and this is serious business. We cannot afford to continually take a chance at a QB fumble due to un-necessary hits, by waiting until the last minute. I just hope what Romo did, lit a fire under Bledsoe.

It's like a deja vu everytime I see post that wants Romo to start. Can you say Buffalo Bills when they decide to let go Bledsoe in favor of J.P. Losman? Losman got pulled a few weeks after last season opening. Now, he is fighting for a starting job that was given to him last year. Please, enough of the Romo/Bledsoe debate. Romo just played one PRE-SEASON game and some Cowboys fans wants him to start. Sad, very sad...

Excuse me, Gertrude, but Romo was untouched because he gets rid of the ball faster than future HOF QB Drew Bledose AND because he can scramble - unlike future HOF QB Drew Bledsoe.

Romo is also more accurate and throws a more "catchable " ball than future HOF QB Drew Bledsoe.

Hence: Romo starts, Bledsoe sits.

You must be joking. :banghead:

Sorry, superDrunk, if you call THAT pass protection, you certainly deserve your new nickname! Romo's great abilities gave the "illusion" of great pass protection, imho.

1. Grow up!

2.Quit braggin about your biggest accomplishment, you're embarassing yourself!(tying your own shoes)

How can you put both those in the same post and take yourself seriously?:laugh2::laugh2:

It was real good. Much, much, MUCH better than what we saw at the end of last year. Bledsoe would have thrived with that kind of protection.
Bledsoe would have died with that kind of protection...Romo made that O-Line look good by moving in the pocket, getting rid of the ball, and scrambling. It was not all that much better than last year.

I'll take it a step further - last year's pass protection was actually slightly BETTER, or at least equal to 2004. Testaverde was much better at moving too.

My biggest gripe with Bledsoe is his footwork. He runs backward and SOMETIMES steps up into the pocket.

Bledsoe is an old pro.....that stuff will not faze him but a tough defense will

Actually, I want Romo to start because we'll win more games!
Gimme a freakin break:rolleyes:

Bledsoe won 9 games last year and we're a better team now. Starting Romo at this point would be giving up on the season.

You've got to be kidding me. A near perfect pocket - almost every time. Bledsoe could have worked wonders with that much room to step up in the pocket.

The Answer hopes that Bledsoe starts against the Saints and lights them up monday so the Romo hype machine can come to a screetching halt.

Even if Bledsoe is mediorce his job is far from in jeapordy.
