Which prospect do you see having the biggest impact in 2023, and what prospect do you see having the biggest long term impact.

Instant: Jahmyr Gibbs. Guy is going to be a one man offense right out of the gate. Home run threat as a runner, and a receiving threat defenses have to be accountable for.

Long term: Gervon Dexter. He has some 2023 value as a big bodied DT who can play multiple positions. However he hasnt really unlocked his pass rush potential. I think there is alot of it there. I have a hard time finding a good comp for him. I could see him maxing out as a to Michael Brockers+. However, I could also see him developing his pass rush moves and being similar to Muhammad Wilkerson.

Michael Mayer would be both if available.

Cowboys have pick 26. Gibbs is my number 1 target.

you mean pick 26? If we're just talking about guys that could be available than IMHO, Torrence OG Fla would be both. That guy is a mountain of a man that would instantly solidify the inside. He is a true mauler that would stop the inside push as well as open up holes for whoever is carrying the ball for the next decade.

I’ll stick to the guys I think can be both -
Michael Mayer
Dalton Kincaid
Josh Downs

I’d be thrilled with any of them.

FWIW the pick can be either 26 or 27 depending if you count the Miami forfeited pick or not.

I'm generally down on expecting a TE to contribute right away. Hockenson, Pitts, Fant, Hurst, Njoku etc.. all taken in the first and only Pitts had a good year #1. And even then, it's still debatable if he was worth it at #4 over others.
Now, variables come into play such as the QB, but it's not an easy position IMO to expect instant results.

Either Gibbs or Robinson, if available would be the best impact player at the pick. Both are NFL ready and depending on the Zeke and Pollard decisions they could get a lot of snaps right away.
Torrence is another instant player at guard imo.

Long term it's hard to say. Might be a handful of DT's still available that could pan out to be good. Dexter might develop into a good 3 down DT. Kancey is another that could be a boom/bust DT.
That LB Sanders is also interesting and with Quinn still here would be something to have two linebackers with pass rushing abilities.

Biggest impact-either RB Robinson/Gibbs, Mayer, Broderick, Torrence
Long Term-Schmitz, Ringo (many were saying the same things about Campbell at the same stage)

Are you sold on Ringo? I have my doubts from what I’ve seen. But, I am not a professional scout so my opinion means nothing lol

For both - Jordan Addison.

When push comes to shove, like in the back half of the Super Bowl, the NFL basically devolves into a 7-on-7 game of 2 second throws. Addison dominates on those plays. If we end up in a do-or-die game like the Chiefs, and we're down 10 points at halftime, Addison increases our chances of winning that game in a way that say O'Cyrus Torrance or Bijan Robinson just can't do. Elite passing offenses have a huge margin of error.

You could make a similar case for Zay Flowers, or for a DB like say Joey Porter Jr. who can help us keep a lead once we're up on a team. But I think Addison is just a step better than them.

Cap

The game is won in the trenches. Look no further than the last two Super Bowls. This year, Mahomes was torching Philly with Skyy Moore, Boo Boo Smith Schuster, and MVS because Phillys vaunted DL couldnt sniff him

Last year, Burrow was unable to convert on that final 4th down because of the pressure Aaron Donald caused.
