At 27, who is you instant impact guy, and your long term impact guy

High end WR2 is the answer for both for me.But this could be addressed via FA / Trade.

Cap

The game is won in the trenches. Look no further than the last two Super Bowls. This year, Mahomes was torching Philly with Skyy Moore, Boo Boo Smith Schuster, and MVS because Phillys vaunted DL couldnt sniff him

Last year, Burrow was unable to convert on that final 4th down because of the pressure Aaron Donald caused.
We shouldn’t compare what Mahomes can do against what other QBs in the NFL can do. Dude will be a 1st ballot HOFanf one of the best of all time.

And for the record, his cupboard isn’t bare. His WR1 is Kelce, then he has 2 2nd round picks, a 1st round pick and a FA signing in MVS.

To me:

Free Agent:
  1. Da’Ron Payne (1T)
  2. Wes Schweitzer (OG)
Draft:
  1. Addison (WR)
  2. LaPorta (TE)
  3. Bigsby (RB)
Bijan if available would be favorite for offensive rookie of the year and the most instant impact but Addison has more upside considering cost of the WR position.

Gibbs is my instant impact player as well Lightning in a bottle

Long Term Darnell Wright OT from Tennessee Big clog that can shore up this offensive line for years to come

Everyone knows about Robinson, but Gibbs I think is going to be a nightmare at the next level. You draft that kid you gotta know how to use him. Balance his touches as a ball carrier and receiver. I don’t know what we’re going to do with Pollard, but if they let him walk, I think Gibbs will be a player to watch.

He is the real special talent at RB in this draft IMO. There is a twiched-up super athletic pure runner like Bijan in most draft classes. But there are receiving HBs as polished as Gibbs virtually never.

That’s what I’m taking about. You watch some of his tape lined up as a receiver in the slot and he don‘t look like a RB. I’d have no issues taking him in round 1.

Plug and play not likely to bust:

1) Mayer
2) Gibbs
3) Robinson
4) Kincaid
5) Schmitz
6) Torrance
7) Flowers
8) Nolan Smith who Broaddus thinks might be a guyu they'd be interested in. Doubt they go defense here though.

This is a generous comparison, but he reminds me alot of Faulk in that he could play the WR spots as well as most WR's

Instant and Long term impact.
TE - Dalton Kincaid
RB - Gibbs
OT - Darnell Wright

Good list. I think Dallas would go Schmitz over Torrance too.

Yeah from your list I missed Wright. He piqued my interest by playing very well vs Will Anderson. I would be more interested in trenches but unless someone totally unforseen drops I think it will be a skill player.

A fun fact from PFF today...

Including the playoffs, CeeDee Lamb had 127 catches this year. No other WR had more than 47. CeeDee basically tripled up on Brown and Gallup.

CeeDee also had 1357 yards in the regular season. #2 was Dalton Schultz with 577.

Anyone who doesn't think a #2 WR would be our biggest impact player is smoking something.

It’s comical at this point…I’m LOLg thinking about Dennis Houston out there as a starter week 1.

Yeah, our biggest need based on last year is our WR2...I mean, chances are Gallup is better next year, but we still need more firepower on offense, even if Gallup improves.
