That's where I put the onus of todays outcome at. I don't think he needs to be spectacular (though I'm not against the idea), but he definately has to manage the game well and of course not turn the ball over.

To me this is a statement game for Drew. Is he going to be a QB we can depend on to elevate his game for these types of huge matchups ... or is he gonna be the Jekyll and Hyde QB who there's no telling what you are gonna get when the chips are down. For all the talk about TO this game really rests at his feet.

I would like to see us try to run some to speed up the clock. Any stat guys out there know how the Eagles are against the run?

Bledsoe last year in road games within the division was not stellar.
I think he can change that with TO making defenses play us honest but I see your point.
Turnovers and sacks early in the game will only make beating the Eagles tougher.
If the Eagles play alot of Cover 2 then we have to be able to run the ball.
That means 7 in the box and our offense has to win that matchup.

The O-line line.

Yeah obviously the OL has to hold it's own for us to win this thing, so I'm with ya there.

But I think it would be asking alot to expect the OL to be perfect against that defense in that environment. At the end of the day Bledsoe, while under pressure is gonna have to make some smart decisions. Even if some of those are just throwing the ball away.

Without Kearse, I expect our line to do well. Bledsoe does need to be smart.

I just want him to utilize the throw away, the most underrated play in football.

No doubt the running game will be a key component as well. Even if we don't run the football well it will be necessary to keep going to it so the defense can't pin it's ears back.

I said that 2 days ago. The Game is first on Bledsoe and then on OL. I get the feeling it will be Bledsoe, so far. I don't care even if we win this game, Bledsoe played crappy to at best average. OL had issues, but he is freaking back to holding ball too long sometimes on blitzes.

I am pretty much convinced now, no matter what this game ends up being or that cowboys get into playoffs, Bledsoe will croak, if the playoffs are on the road.

And also I am pretty dissappointed with Cowboys defense. Overhyped is the word that comes to my mind. McNappy has all day to throw almost all the time.

Bledsoe has been a car wreck up to this point.

A bit of an overstatement, considering the O-line's struggles

At Bledsoe's feet?

That's where most of his passes have landed.

That's true as well. Of course who knows what types of decisions Romo would make if he was in there.

David Carr has the worst O-Line in the NFL. He also has the best QB rating in the NFL.

Why? Because, unbelievably, he is smarter than Bledsoe, and also quick enough to elude some of the pressure

Elude pressure?

What's that?

I had a feeling.

This is a QB who's history is being eratic especially when the game has some importance tied to it. I was willing to give Bledsoe the benefit of the doubt until now. But from this point forward he will have to prove his meddle to me. We were beaten by the differences in quality of QB play today ... bottom line.
