The people of Detroit didn't and don't want to live in Detroit. That's why the population has shrunk by over 1 million since I was born in a town on the edge of it in 1960. They've all moved to the surrounding suburbs.... just like many affluent professional athletes do in other major cities.... just like the Cowboys do in Dallas.
