enjoy this week, lets not talk 9ers, YET...

we get 48 hrs to enjoy this,
Narratives we heard since last Sunday,
  • cant win on the road outdoors
  • cant beat Brady, ever...
  • cant play on grass
  • cant win a road playoff game
  • dak cant elevate his game
  • cant stop the run
  • cant be physical against that dl
that all we heard the last few weeks...

most were ridiculous anyway and i never bought into them, but can we enjoy this game before dooming us next Sunday.. this was a great win.. enjoy it

Of course we'll hear now from the Dak detractors:

Tampa wasn't a good team, 8-9 in a weak divsion, being the best of the worst doesn't mean much
Sure, Dak played great but even still many of his passes were off the mark
He missed open receivers
He will revert to his real self against SF
He didn't elevate players around him, they just played great
He only wins when his supporting cast plays great

Did I miss any?

so did you watch Allen? how aboiut Lwerence? all their passes on target, did they not make huge mistakes in playoff game? i watched Brock purdys first half and he was off taget on HALF HIS PASSES, ironic is the wrs stil caught them, its football you think every pass is perfect? NOPE

No ones perfect,

They call it a catch radius or zone for a reason, most of the highlight reel catches of all time are off Target throws, if all passes were perfect , we would NOT have highlight reel just, like all big plays, someone made a mistake on the field that opened that pay up ie bad coverage, bad tackling , bad reads. i mean shall i go on..
so fgar this playoffs first weekend, Dak played the best our of ALL the qbs , it was as close to perfect as you can play.. BTW TB maybe has some weaknesses but it was on the road and it wasn't on defense..they had a top 10 ranked defense; we heard that all week.

shall i link those rankings and how our Offense and Moore and dak struggle against top 10 total defense?

haters can be haters , i dont see dak as elite i see him a a great qb with warts , however hes still top 10 and has played like last night top 5 at times..hes our qb his $$ says so and well games like that which isnt the fist we saw this all year in many games whether for half or for 3/4 of a game ie like after the pick 6 against the eagles he lit that team up for 54 mins, lit up MN, came out in the first half against jags and got up a17point lead, got us up 14 against GB, throttled the bears which is game he also came out on foire for a half, also played great in between mistakes that were NOT all his fault..we all saw them , we debated them, you all say excuses, i says its football and after watching Lawrence and Allen struggle but win , we all know that just the life of an NFL QB..

Where does Dak now rank amongst the QB's in the playoffs. The one left as well, all the QB's, even the ones that lost.

Also where does his game last night rank to the others that have played?

Cowboys players evidently do not follow the 48 hour rule. Each man said as soon as the plane lands in Dallas last night they would be looking at SF.

It is hopeful to think we might have broken several jinxes; and even better to hope that we planted Brady once and for all

Time will tell

Are you delusional . . . who would say that? . . . What you call Dak detectors are students of the game and if Dak played like that His whole career He would not have any detractors

1 game down I could my fingers crossed for next week .

We all know Dak is like a box if chocolates . . . you never know what you are going to get

You forgot the narrative from our fellow Cowboy fans on here that Dak can’t read zone defenses.

Well said.

I don’t know if it’s because of Sports Center, Madden, NFL Red Zone, or what, but far too many people think every pass has to be absolutely perfect. And that every other top QB throws only perfect passes. Hell, one only needed to watch the game last night to see that’s not the case - most of the GOAT’s passes were far from perfect.

right this is just a game and great thing dfor fans now we have a bigger challenge ahead but man we needed this so so much , 48 hrs of positivity, then on to how do we beat SF in SF and they are tough in the trenches and will run the ball. that's a challenge. i saw them against the raiders and at times in the first half Saturday they were not perfect nor unbeatable, Seattle fell apart starting making mistakes....just have to play a clean game to have shot.
