There’s always a few.

They don’t realize they are fans. It’s smart to root for losses in a hopeless season in order to improve your chances the next season. A top 3-5 pick in every round is so much better for your team, than a 19th pick in every round, or even a 10-12 pick in every round.

As a fan you are not playing or coaching. Of course players and coaches always want to win.
