People bag on Tebow because people used those reasons to pretend that he was some great NFL QB. He was a great college QB that played in a system that fit him perfectly. He was not, and never had been an NFL QB. If people accepted that, he wouldn't be hated.

If Tebow was a good QB he'd probably still be a QB on some team today. But it was fun watching him make some of those comebacks. He was never a downfield pocket passer. He'd either take off running, or he'd wiggle out of the pocket to buy time and throw off a busted play. He was fairly successful doing it.

I liked Tebow in Denver. He had a skillset that could have won in the NFL but he needed an offense that accommodated his shortfalls. Kinda like what the Ravens did with Lamar jackson. If someone had built an offense around Tebow and what he could do, he would have had. much longer career. He always had the intangibles and leadership.
