Motion or no motion. The offensive line has to block. It does Tyreek Hill no good run go in motion, run 40 yards downfield in 4 seconds if the QB is buried after 2.5 seconds.

Philly is in the same predicament the Cowboys are. A highly paid QB that can't be trusted in the passing game.
Except that Philly was stupid enough to sign their guy to an even bigger deal.

That Hurts contract is going to be an albatross.

To put it simply, motion helps you to get the defense on the move and get your guys a step or two of separation before the play even begins (I mean, look at the Charger's TD that came off of a simple motion and caused Lewis to get tied up behind the LOS). I simply do not know why NFL coaching staffs are not pushing the limits in the same way the Dolphins are.

I've been asleep lately but were we not running a little faster offense, which might allow motion? I don't know.

We haven't shown we can line up without motion & not have penalties so I can't fully fault the coaches for trying to keep it simple.
That's what I was thinking. They probably tried it in practice and got pre-snap penalties 90% of the time.

It also helps expose the defense's plans.

The first two drives were emblematic of how poorly coached the Cowboys are.

Coaching staffs are slow to adjust because they are stupid and slow to adjust. There's also just not that many minds who can do what Shanahan/McVay do, yet.

Thats a coaching issue. What's his excuse?
somehow staying in the building 24 hours a day after the SF debacle & still failed to address it. now that I think of it, he's been saying it was a priority for several years.

designing this game changing offense must be absorbing all his time. yeah, that's it.

Probably has a lot to do with the QBs and talent at Wr. The Dolphins motion a lot to free up waddle and Hill who aren’t big guys. It prevents the defense from jamming them at the LOS negating their speed. In regard to Dallas, I rarely see CBs jamming our WRs at the line. We don’t have the kind of speed to threaten.
There was no problem with this in KM's offense with nearly the same players. What's with that?

Cowboys wasn’t doing much motioning before MM so what is the common denominator?

I would 100% be putting Turpin and Cooks in motion for easy RZ TDs like Kellen did to us.
Those guys are too fast to cover on the move but small enough to jam at the line when there is no space for them to run into.

LOL! After last week, I'm not even sure they can snap the ball without a penalty, much less incorporate heavy motion at the snap.
Yup, going past the plays written in the book, “ NFL Offenses for Dummies” is sure to make the flags fly

It’s a good thing we don’t motion, could image how many more pre-snap penalties this bunch would have.

They are below average at anything with bunch, 3 x 1 or empty.

Formations WITH motion are static and predictable.

I mean McCheese supposedly ran Moore outta town because of this exact same thing right?

There either needs to be a big tweak or total over haul to both pass play design AND run scheme.

McCarthy is failing miserably.
It shouldn't take an ALL -22 tutorial to show exactly what play will be called based on Mac's tired outdated scheme(s). Because I can pretty much call it from my couch.
So yeah, NFL DCs are laughing.

And guess what else? This opinion is to INCLUDE that the QB does this offense NO favors EITHER by missing the opportunities that ARE there.
Cuz I'm not a big Dak fan either.

It's just McCarthy sucks at his job too.

Get your **** together McCheese and prove your gameday worth.

Jerry and MM still stuck in the 90’s…….it’ll never happen and I’m done caring.
