At the beginning of the season, what were your expectations for the 2024 season?

Were your expectations high, low, in the middle, as the season went along have your expectations changed??? I think a lot of us didn't have high expectations based on our off season or lack there of. For some knowing that we had Dak and Lamb locked up could have given some hope. Interested in seeing what your thoughts are on this!!

Very true!!!! Next off season has to be special, Jerry has to feel uncomfortable and do some things he hasn't done in years!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Literally everyone but this FO saw this season going nowhere. They're still shocked that not improving a team that peed down their legs in the playoffs would lead to these results.

Before anything, 9-8. After our non-particiapation in FA I knew it would be worse but didn't expect free fall.

9-8....look it up. I've been saying on here since the end of the draft that this team was much worse than the one we fielded in 2023. We had the worst rb room in the league, 2 rookies on the OL replacing pro bowlers, and the same sad DT rotation. Jerry literally did nothing this past off season to improve the team.

Kinda my thinking. But now I hope it’s way below .500 because talent is only thing that’s gonna change this team. Dropping from 9th pick to 11th picks means no shot at some much needed players like a starter quality LT which would allow us to move on from Steele and plsy Guyton at his natural position

Picked them to go 9-8. I would have been surprised if they made the playoffs. They are worse than that and probably finish somewhere between 6-8 wins. This season was torpedoed in the off-season by the Jones boys.

I thought we would finish with a losing record and McCarthy would be let go. The way we ended the season to GB coupled with no legit moves in FA spelled disaster. With the amount of rookies on the o-line and no rb in free agency or the draft, I felt like the run game would suffer and it would hurt the offense as a whole. The defense was and still is missing pieces that we all knew were a problem.

I was hopeful but it just felt like this was a wasted season with MM and his staff having no deal past this year. We will see where we finish but I could still see a losing record happening.

I kind of thought it was going to be a Jason Garrett like season not quite good enough to make the playoffs but not bad enough to draft well.
I didn't expect quite so many injuries but I knew we couldn't run the ball and we couldn't stop the run so we were going nowhere
