CA (Chris Arnold is a reputable source so if he says anything about the Cowboys innermost goings on it’s 99% true

For any normal GM this question would be a joke. But since we are talking about the worst GM in sports, anything is on the table.

It wasn't nice, but Mike called a decent game today. I think Rush and Mike can turn this team around. Does Jerry give Mike a new contract?
why? this wasn't a great game for cowboys.....it was more on washington's special teams missing not one but to PATs and out special teams pulling one out of the hat. this game was more a comedy of errors than anything else, despite the 4th quarter.

I'm amazed McCarthy took this team to three straight 12-5 seasons. The playoff game against GB should have bounced him. The team wasn't prepared. After the 49ers playoff loss to the Vikings back in 1987 Bill Walsh at least came out and said it was all on him. That he did not properly prepare his team for the Vikings. He came out and said it. Some accountability.

If you can read, go back and reread, where the post where I stated that someone called in and CA Chris Arnold on the radio told them that Stephen talked Jerry into hiring McCarthy and he also talked him into not firing him after the Green Bay loss.
Go back and reread that post. And stop being an idiot.

I will help you, this is what I posted after you said I was blowing smoke:

know this because I just heard a fan ask the radio guys and one of them said exactly what I posted
I only read the response from the other fan who asked where you acquired your info. Some of you act like you’re flies on the wall and hear every conversation between Jerry and Stephen. If you want to listen to some Chris Arnold on the radio, go ahead.

Of course not. Jerry Jones will allow Mike McCarthy to play out his contract. Who knows if there is a remote possibility of a re-signing but it would not occur until then.
what happens if we win out? and go 10 - 7 does he get a new contract?

Jerruh should have never given Garrett 2.0 a contract to begin with. Oh wait, it is Jerruh's world.

My opinion? Nope. Mike McCarthy does not possess the personal connection Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett shared. Jones will not give McCarthy 'infinite' number of chances to get it right.

The number one indicator was Jones not renewing McCarthy's contract. An NFC Championship game *might* save McCarthy. A Super Bowl appearance or better would save him. The odds of either happening are extremely slim-to-none.

Just waiting to see how things play out. My nickname, for McCarthy's chances of returning as Dallas' head coach in 2025, is toast. Burnt.
