I do, but the expression you're looking for was, "as the days go by". Trying to pass off what you typed as a "typo", is bull****.

The words "does" and "go" share exactly ONE letter, that's HARDLY a "typo"!

Don't get all bent out of shape and sensitive over making a simple mistake dude. I wasn't trying make you look stupid, simply poking fun at you. There IS a difference ya know!?

My favorite is, I don't remember who said it, a basketball player who made a shot with his left hand. He said good thing I'm amphibious meaning ambidextrous. :laugh2:

It was actually Chris Washburn basketball player for NC State and #1 recruit in the country I believe at the time. His freshman year, when asked by a reporter about his ability to use both hands, he replied "yes, I'm amphibious."

He never corrected himself.

Is it just me or do more and more athletes screw up common phrases, sayings and cliches as the days does by.

I hope Stefon Johnson makes a full recovery from his ankle injury and I am just using him as an example because he's the latest one I saw completely screwing up a phrase.

Maybe it's always been the case, but I think it's just about once a week now that I hear one of these players say something that makes me say 'What the heck did he just say?'.

Maybe he is related to Biff "make like a tree and get out of here"

I'm pretty sure he was thinking "bump in the ground", which isn't the exact phrase but makes more sense than "round". In that case it is a typo from 'ground' to 'round' rather than thinking it is 'round' instead of 'road'.
