At least Sean Payton has the cajones to call out the officiating - take notes you red head *****:

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...ew-orleans-saints-coach-sean-payton-officials

"I thought the officiating was extremely poor -- inconsistent would be a great way to put it," Payton said Friday. "I thought that had a lot to do with the way this game ended. ... If two teams are out there fighting hard, but the calls, as I went through every one of 'em and the ones that weren't called, too many inconsistencies.

"I think it's been a problem all year. And it's something that's gonna have to be addressed from a leadership standpoint at the top in our league office."
This is disturbing and pisses me off.

Of the Falcons' 26 first downs Thursday night, 11 came by penalty.

Kamara gets the “independent” concussion monitor call for extended tests and is ruled out the rest of the game.

Arthur Blank spearheads Roger Goodell’s contract extension and gets its done before Jerry’s special owners meeting.

You can’t make this stuff up man...Falcons are obviously gonna take the NFC South...book it. The NFL is such trash.

Great, another conspiracy thread. Again, why would anyone follow a league they believe is corrupt?

Funny how I didn't see this stuff when the Cowboys were rolling Washington.

Try reading the Sean Payton quotes from the article. This isn’t a conspiracy it’s just a bunch of coincendental events that happened in favor of a NFL team that won a game who’s owner was the president of a committee that just compensated the league’s frontman.

Perfect example as usual for a couple of reasons.

Tell the part when Gruden complained for 5 minutes about how the calls and no calls really affected the game.

I've never ever been the kind of fan to call out the NFL for having "rigged" games or of being some part of conspiracy, however, this year has definitely made me look differently at the league. A lot of questionable events this year. NFL is a big business and where big money happens often times corruption and greed follow. It's too bad.

College football is infinitely more enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

Goodell has ruined the game.

Cowboys beat a bad Commander team. They were as much responsible for our victory as we were. The fix has been in all season.

C'mon, the players are supposed to be student-athletes....no one in the SEC goes to class, have you ever seen interviews with the players after the games? rarely from an SEC player....talk about double-standards....besides, they want the SEC teams in the playoffs every year, how on earth did alabama get in there without winning their conference...I can't stand Ohio St, but didn't they deserve it more???

...I digress...

Monday night the stealers won the same way. That’s only a coincidence since Rooney was on the committee.

There isn’t a conspiracy and the games aren’t “fixed” but NFL refs are woefully inconsistent and in the case against the Jets in NY on 9/11/11 absolutely biased at times. RG didn’t tell refs to not throw flags against the Jets that night, the refs didn’t have to be told......It was a tribute to NYC, you really think refs weren’t going to fall in line and call holding, PI, illegal contact etc against the Jets in NY with the whole country watching and by default rooting for the Jets???

Blank is a pos always has been always will be..

Just like his stores. (Home depot) That should tell you everything you need to know. Those places sell nothing but junk. You never find what you need...or they don't have it. And if by chance they do have it...they are most likely to be out of the product...and it won't be available for weeks.:(

Saints defensive tackle suspended four games today. Speaking out, may have come at a cost. The timing is certainly questionable. Even more reason to admire Payton, for giving the powers that be in this crooked league, a public tongue lashing.

There's little doubt in my mind that officials have marching orders that involve more than just calling a straight game. Certain players and teams, for various reasons which ultimately involve ratings and money, are either given "the benefit of a doubt" or the exact opposite. With some officiating crews the implementation is subtle, with other officiating crews it's not so subtle. I have a very hard time believing these lopsided games are simply the result of inconsistency amongst the officials trying to call a straight game.

Watch out for those chemtrails, boys.

What has ever convinced you that Goodell could not possibly try and pull something like this?

Was it the coverup and destruction of the SpyGate tapes?

Or how about desperately trying to claim that BountyGate actually occurred despite no evidence?

Or the pure power play in EE's situation where he duped Jerry into thinking he wouldn't suspend EE and then did knowing that Tiffany Thompson did not have a shred of credibility?

Or was it the doctors that he hired to review Thompson's bruises who claimed that they could tell about when the occurred...only to have an expert stating that was nonsense and one of the doctors was forced to agree and the other doctor lied about being hospitalized?

I don't know if it's a conspiracy, but frankly I would not put a thing past Goodell because he has shown that he is unethical and quite scandalous.

And that's why when this season is over, I'm done with the NFL and as a result, I'm done with Cowboyszone.com. I cannot support something in any way, shape or form that I feel is this scandalous and suspect.

Because we cause too many turnovers that game. On top of that the game is to make Dallas play. Keep the Falcons alive and well is the best way. Think about it if fans knew the Cowboys are out the playoff race there will be a sudden rating drop.

If they put together another league like they did with the USFL, with some real money behind it, I'd be there.

That holding penalty on Bernard to take away a long TD pass to AJ Green was about as bad as it gets. The Bengals would have gone up 24-10 heading into the fourth quarter but the NFL did not want to see viewers turn off the TV and go to bed so they throw a very late flag after Green catches the ball.

The Steelers seem to be on the beneficiary side of these types of calls far too often. I think I would feel guilty if the Cowboys got that many beneficial calls in a game.
