They also mention a few other teams in the running (Dolphins and Raiders)The key date to remember here is June 1. If the Rams haven't figured out a way to ink Atogwe to a long-term deal by then, they'll either have to pay him 110 percent of his 2009 salary or he'll be an unrestricted free agent. At that point, we expect a team like the Jacksonville Jaguars -- who just lost out on Sharper, and need safety help badly -- to pounce.

Then Mosley chimes in and says the Cowboys could use the help, and lists all the bad safeties we've had since DW.

Fiance subscribed me to the magazine and it comes with a free insider account, it was actually pretty useful for news/scouting info and crap during the draft.
How is AOA next year's FS? :laugh2: the guy has never played big league college ball let alone a snap in the NFLBeast_from_East;3390463 said:We are not signing Atogwee, you guys need to let it go.
The second we drafted AOA, that ended any chance at signing a vet at FS. The reason is because AOA is penciled in as the starter by next year at the latest, and any vet we sign is going to want a multiyear deal. So why would Atogwee or any other vet sign with Dallas if they know the future FS is already on the roster???
Alan Ball and Mike Hamlin will fight it out for who is going to keep the seat warm until AOA is ready.

I have a higher level of confidence in Ansah's abilities than I did of any of these players. Most were unreliable (Goodrich), outright reaches (Thornton, Larrimore) or simply poster children for an excessive sell-job by the organization (Watkins, Smith, Hunter). Of course, Ansah could be in that same overrated category, but it does not feel that way to me.montgod;3390699 said:This...
Then again, I mean who could forget all the past up and coming, starting CB/FS? Legends like...
DeAngelo Smith
Pat Watkins
Bruce Thornton
Pete Hunter
Kareem Lattimore
Duane Goodrich
