Atowge To Commanders

I didn't want him last year. I didn't want him this year. I am fine with this.

So you were happy with Ball?

Just another in a long line of stars who go to Washington and turn into has-been's.

At least I hope it stays consistent that way.

But in reality, a good signing for them.

How long unitl the Idiot Commanders Fans come up with some super lame "nickname" for their new safety tandem.... some moronically, overhyped phrase like "Bash Brothers" with "the 2nd best safety in the league Adam Archuleta" or the failed "Area 51" garbage?

Come on Idiot Commanders fans. I know you reading this to see our reaction. Go ahead and answer my question as to when you morons are going to come up with the next stupid nickname for your players. You guys are such bottom dwellers that the only satisfaction you get is to talk up you players in the off-season about what "beasts" they are going to be next season before the inevitable flop.

So what's the phrase going to be? MEGABEASTMODE DEATHVALLEY KILLAZ?

Here's one if you can figure it out: call your new safety tandem "the Juice Box."

I bolded the part I lol'd at. You thinking the skins have some geniuses massaging the cap. Hes a good player but its still a mess over there

This puts the pressure on us to get Huff.

Dont get it twisted, no one here is nuts over Ball

:lmao2:

seperatley my take on FS

as far as free agent go with the chance that there will be no OTA's or at least allot less of them and with us installing a new D this year i think it makes sense to bring in Elam to man one of the saftey spots.

Yeah yeah i know he's not weddle or huff but those guy's will be looking for 5 or 6 year deals starting at 7 mill a pop. elam will come cheaper and already knows the d. We have other holes to fill but we cant go into the draft needing 2 safteys sign elam and draft duenta or moore in r2 or 3. We still have to resign free and maybe a RG or RT as well as a few d-lineman

I'm not upset about them getting OJ. I don't care about that really.

I will, however, be pretty unhappy if we go into next season with Ball and Gerald as our starting safeties. I am fine with Gerald being a starter, as long as we've upgraded the spot next to him.

I don't want them both back there again.

Why would you assume that?

Because you didn't want to run right out and sign the big name FA. So obviously it means you have to love the sub par guy we had.

Perhaps I wanted someone in the Draft or someone else? In my world those are distinct possibilities.

You don't know that until the CBA is reached, unless you have a crystal ball?

Agree.

There are some interesting things I heard today.

If the NFLPA takes this to court they will be able to challenge everything.

RFA's

Hell even the draft and all of this will be litigated.

Could you imagine there being no draft?

Odds are though a CBA will get done with many of these items still in it. Nobody wants to see anarchy.

Another note: 5 years 26 million dollars is approximately the same deal the Commanders gave another veteran D player back in 2007 to come play for his old D-cord. In one of the few FA moves to work for DC, London Fletcher has been excellent in DC

That's a strong pair of safeties. Best in NFCE for sure.

Well, duh. But that takes rational thinking and someone taking one moment to actually put some thought into their comment before they just comeback with the same old "So you were happy with what we had" line of thinking.

Very true. I set the bar too high.

Uh....

He sucks anyway!
No he does not suck. he's better than any S we have. once again Jerry is sitting on his butt doing nothing this off-season. he learned nothing from how terrible Alan Ball was. or that pitiful 6 and 10, tied for last place record we had. looks like he's going to try it again.this is pitiful.other teams have had free-agent visits. and like last year we have not even had one.doing it the same way and expecting a different result will not work.PERIOD!

So we missed the Draft already huh?

Premature evaluation strikes yet again.

Jerry Jones fails on this one.

I agree. I thought being able to sign this guy before the draft was a gift. Who knows what sort of free agency we'll see and who will end up being available. We don't even have a legit starting safety currently on this roster as far as we know. This guy is a playmaker and was available at perhaps our greatest position of need. I hate this news.

Thanks god, got that over with fast.
Let's see if you will be thanking god when Alan Ball is getting smoked again next year.Jerry has dropped the ball again in free-agency. he never learns from his stupid mistakes.
