I just read an article in the kasas city star that says the Chiefs ranked third in the nfl for attendance. Commanders were first and Giants were second. Man there were alot of people watching horrible football last year. My question is does anyone know where the boys ranked?

those attendance numbes are skewed beacause th giants get 80,000 for home games and the skins 90,000.

Texas stadium can push about 65, 500 on its best day. That is why the attendance numbers are like that.

I think arrowhead holds 78000

How many will the new stadium hold? 100,000?

I think the new statium will hold about 78,000 on game days if I remember correctly. But it will have the capacity to hold 100,000 for "special events".

the Chiefs always sell out, Snyder built a big stadium, and New York has the highest population in America

the sad part is there are years when we can't even sell out the 65k we have now. i wonder how adding 13k onto that (or more) will effect blackouts now.

dallas has grown quite a bit over the last 10 years so hopefully a lot of football fans have moved here to ensure we fill up the new place so i can be lazy and keep watching them on my 56" tv. : )

that new stadium is going to draw alot of fans, maybe all Dallas needs to boost the attendance is to build the biggest and best stadium bar none

Dallas does hold one record: The team's national following might best be represented by its NFL record of consecutive games in front of sold out stadiums. The streak of 160 sold-out regular and post-season games began in 1990, and included 79 straight sellouts at Texas Stadium and 81 straight sell-outs on the road.[

Jerry likes to maximize club seating because he does not have to share that money with other teams. So overall attendance is lower but fatter(fat cats).
Texas stadium I think has the most suites in the league.

That was my first thought as well... stadium capacity throws those numbers off.
