Prime Rodgers, Stafford, Ryan, Wilson, and Watson are all light years better than Dak and deserving of those contracts.

Dak having the 10th highest contract is still not worth it because he is not good enough for it.

btw, Dalton had a worse o-line then Dak and won games at a higher pace then Dak was on pace for.

now you are trying to change the argument, which doesn't even support your initial argument anyways.

the point is that salaries go up and over time a top salary is not tops anymore and I asked the question, 2 years from now when he has the 10th highest salary, will your expectations change....the ranking of the salaries changes by season....its a losing argument. and to your response, Rodgers hasn't been to the superbowl in over 10 years. but he is elite?
Ryan made it to one superbowl and lost and once he lost his defense, he has been average to below average.

What has Stafford done to deserve his contract. wins and losses? playoff wins? using your own measure of standard, he is far below Dak.

Staffrord is a pure stat collector since Detroit is always fighting to come from behind making games closer than they were in the 4th quarter and losing...he throws a pretty spiral though and seemingly you must be fascinated by that...

again, using your own standards....Watson has had two 4-12 seasons..... so you are telling me he deserved his contract?, two 4-12 seasons and 1-2 in the playoffs...

Dalton had the same OL as dak, except for the first 1.5 games when smith played LT..... so don't try and make Dalton ( your hero) into a martyr.....Dalton sucks. he was worse than he showed on the field. much worse....

However, I give you one thing, Dalton was able to beat 3 teams with 4 wins and having their back up QBs. defense giving him 9 turnovers and a score and a special team score.... I wish we could play those teams every week. if you guarantee me that we will only play 4 win teams and their back up QBs, then I will vote for Dalton.

.because Dalton was able to beat only 1 starting QB...that's it....all other teams having their starting QBs handed him his arse on a platter with a side of fries. he CHOKED, wait, no...let me fix that he CHOKED, as he always does, in a game that mattered (against another starting QB)...and he threw an interception, by throwing a duck ball between 6 defenders taking away any chance for us to win the game and he is a freaking 10 year veteran....pretty stupid for a veteran. utterly utterly stupid...but hey go ahead defend him and tie your ship to his anchor

btw, statistically speaking. Dak was 2-3 and Dalton was 4-9...so in which math book is that the same or higher pace? perhaps you failed math. at least that's what it seems. but don't worry. I can help you if you want.

Ryan is a former MVP and Dak best season statistically (2019) is basically just every year of Ryan's career.

Prime Stafford is absolutely better then any version of Dak. I don't see how that's even debatable.

Now Watson, before the mess that Watson is currently in there is not a GM in the NFL (including Jerry) that would take Dak over Watson. Watson is considered by everybody to be a top 5 QB, while you have to look around for people that have Dak in that discussion, but Watson is always ahead of Dak by basically everyone (except homer Cowboy fans).

You can hate on it all you want, but if you was a GM of a team there is no owner that would ever allow you to take Dak over Watson (pre allegations) if given the choice between the two. In fact, if both were available as free agents, 32 out of 32 owners would pay more for Watson over paying less for Dak.

I apologize if you were offended. given your past few posts, unrelated to what we were discussing, and then the disparate follow up posts reminded me of my mother and conversations she used to have and her issues with Alzheimer. I didn't mean to offend you.
