Aubrey status per PFT

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, there is no offer from another team forthcoming for restricted free agent Brandon Aubrey. The deadline for an RFA to receive an offer sheet is Friday.

This was always the likely outcome when Dallas placed a second-round RFA tender on Aubrey, as any team would have owed the Cowboys a second-round pick to sign the kicker.

Always the likely outcome is an understatement. This was Jerry seeing if any team would be dumb enough to actually give up a 2nd for him.

Let’s remember they offered him a deal that would have made him the highest paid kicker last September and they bet on themselves and so far ,not working out.

That’s on them not the FO they made very fair offer seeing g the new deals for kickers who signed recently didn’t get what Aubrey was offered..

He should just sign before they lower their offer. Lol JJ be like you and Geaorge have zero offers , sign for less..

This is another example of the fools gold that is the NFL free agency system.

There’s nothing free about free agency if the team doesn’t want a player to have it.

Has Aubrey said he's shooting for the contract for the brotherhood? Until then, he's not serious.

The only source for that is Jerry and his media minions that he notified.

Aubrey and his wife both said it was fake news, particularly the Jerry leak that he was seeking $10m

One is an infamous charlatan and the other two are a former software engineer and his wife who have never been shown to be liars.

Well Jerry giving him the 2nd round tender was smart, because it is cheaper and not the 10 mill that was rumored, and no one is gonna snag him away from us for a 2nd rounder... Deal gets done one way or another
