Audio: Ben & Skin: Drew Pearson on Leadership & Romo's Hat

You also have to remember that Tony, if he's going to wear a hat during practice, needs the bill on the back so it doesn't screw with his line of sight. Also Pearson is like 100 years old. I wouldn't expect him to like it. The fact that he just refuses to let it go along with some others is beyond pathetic though.

I don't particularly like the backwards hat... but I do wear it at times... especially playing basketball or throwing the football with the kids...

Is this crap what we are now associating with players now? Is this what it has come to?

I'm sure the older couple a couple of years back that Romo changed the tire for after a game particularly cared which way his hat faced... it is no mark of character...

I didn't mean to imply that it was. I wasn't commenting on hats, when it came to Brady's picture. I simply meant that whatever that guy does doesn't persuade me an inch. I don't care for him.

Why does nobody care that Witte, Miles and Ware also wear theirs backwards? Why does no other FANBASE care that their players do it?

Romo will never win a Super Bowl as long as he keeps wearing that hat backwards.

And worrying about his hair line...

Lol, folks are worried about his hairline now?

Some guy claimed he sat next to Hollywood on a plane and said that Tony is too focused on his hairline to win.

The hat debate when doing interviews. Usually you can't see their face unless the lighting is perfect. He did an interview at the golf tournament with his hat facing forward and you couldn't see his face and just looked bad.

Just food for thought.

I'm much more offended by his "bbgun sucks" t-shirts and bumper stickers.

I also wouldn't be surprise if Starter didn't tell him to wear his hat backwards. He almost always wears cowboys hats forward and his starter hat backwards.

Drew Pearson.... all of this thread was about an interview he gave. Gave props to Romo (as do I), he simply said he wished Tony didn't wear his hat backwards at press conferences. He didn't think it had anything to do with performance (nor do I), or being a leader on the field (nor do I), just felt it would be more becoming of the Cowboys QB to present himself a little different. (so do I).
The hat on backwards = unprofessional look
2 day beard = professional look??
He prolly should comb his hair before the PC's too.

Have any of you ever bought any of those hats? They look ******** when worn normally. They are too tall. I wear mine backwards because it's the only way it looks good. Just sayin.

...btw, I don't even really know why I commented on the hat. Easily the dumbest topic of conversation on this board. I fed into it. :bang2:

wow unreal! I am 31 and I wear my hat backwards all the time. Some people look better or prefer to wear their hat backwards. Tony happens to be 6 days older then me. So I tend to agree with his style its our "age thing". BTW I am highly successful so wearing a hat backwards has nothing to do with success. Get a grip! People who live in glass house should not cast stones.

I respect Pearson's opinion on the hat even though I disagree.

Just like I will never get the big chains, pants sagging style, I know there will be people that will never let go of Romo's backward cap style.

Wow. That completely changes my view of it :) Everyone knows that Tom Brady is a quality person. :) Ask all his single mom kids. :)
That was a nice shot at Brady, but IIRC he only has one kid out of wedlock...and that was with someone he was with for a couple years. So, at least it wasn't a one hitter-quitter.

His other child is with his wife.
