No one who ever wanted T.O. out of Dallas says he's not a good player. They are all just tired of the fanfare that comes along with him and his huge ego. He may have tried to say he hated the way the media portrayed him and I bet some fans in Buffalo right are buying into that BS, but when the cameras came on no one came running faster than Terrell Owens.

That's some funny stuff from Cowherd who I usually can't stand to listen to for more than five minutes. Big Ben is a doofus, but he's a good QB in the clutch and that's undeniable,

Carpenter says he isn't well spoken, lol.

Is this the year Carpenter finally become more than a special teams contributor?

unless the cowboys take 2 linebacker high, i dont see bobby carpenter being traded, you have no one that is available in coverage besides carpenter to take over for burnett

Bobby Carpenter has talent, but he just hasn't bought into playing the physical brand of football we want from him.

ESPN.He comes across quite well in all these interviews he does.Which
is what leads me to believe it could be possible.I hope he really steps

I call absolute BS and everybody is pretty much changing tune to cover themselves if TO posts great numbers. I've heard countless people argue that TOs production has declined and he can't get it done anymore, so he isnt worth the hassle. He's a 37 year old receiver, so his days are done, yada, yada, yada.... The whole year, everybody was proclaiming how he lost a step.

There was a time the big plays would come double coverage or not.

I'm not trying to paint Terrell Owens as the scapegoat, there were plenty of problems last seasons and he had some legit beefs.

But I'm glad the act is on another team.

You again missed the point, which is essentially that nobody that wanted TO gone, wanted him gone because he wasn't a good player. Plenty of people have stated it, and please don't try and argue that what is meant by the argument that production declining meant he was still above good, but not as great as he once was. The reality now is they have to argue this exact point, because everybody has pretty much come out and put the onus on Roy Williams to match TOs production, saying they don't think he can get it done. It is called trying to cover your butt.

I was never a Carpenter fan, and didn't even really like the pick at the time. If Bobby could really play, he'd have cracked the lineup or at least would have been on the field a lot more than he has been. They guy's a bust. It happens.

He's also bright, keeps his nose clean, and is willing to talk about the team to the fans. I can't understand the hatred of Cowboy fans for a player who works hard and just is not good enough.

As long as he's got a star on his hat and he doesn't disgrace the team, I'll support the guy. If 99% of the fans think the guy's a joke, I'll chalk it up to 99% of our fans being clueless on most matters anyway.
