Ok. I get the idea that the Eagles want to go with a young QB to grow up with their young WR's, TE and RB.

But what about Andy Reid? He's not young in NFL terms anymore.

So if the change was due for the QB then why was it not due for the coach who also couldn't get the team over the hump?

If anything DeSean should not have said what he said.

It's called respect. I got a feeling this Jackson kid is soon going to be looked at as the next Terrell Owens. Give him three more years and he's known as baby T.O. in the media.

Everytime kolb gets sacked half the fans are going to start chattering about vick and his ability to run.

throw in the racial aspect with a white starter and a black backup.....

if kolb struggles it might not be pretty early on. If he is very good it will throw a ton of momentum in their corner.

...but couldn't it be taken as a positive towards Kolb instead of a negative towards McNabb? Jackson is a show boat on the field but off the field he's always seemed to say the right things and have a decent head on his shoulders at least to the media.

Don't know if I agree with this. Mcnabb takes a long time to drop back and made reads. His dropback is painfully slow, and IMO, makes the offensive line look bad. Kolb will get rid of the ball quicker.
