Very high praise for Ray Lewis. It's going to be interesting to see if the Cowboys really go after Ray is the Ravens even let him sniff around before trying to lock him into a deal in Baltimore.

Saying that trading for Terrell Owens would have been a mistake is easy to say now. Billick knows that, I just wish Jerry would wake up and see that with him here there is always going to be issues that are about him which takes away the focus from the team. That's a distraction whether you like or not.

Billick as a head in Dallas? Hmmmm.

He did have a pretty good record of 85-67 in the regular season and a 5-3 record in the playoffs. Plus he won a Super Bowl.

I just don't see him in the job. I do think he will work as a head coach again in the NFL, but not with the Cowboys.

It's not like that Ravens defense hasn't made other teams look a little lost at times. And to Billick's point about not playing them and it taking time to figure them out somewhat. Isn't that what seemed to happen for the Cowboys in the fourth quarter when they made that big comeback?

Too bad the defense decided to lie down for those two big runs.

Agree 100,000%. I can't see how anyone wouldn't. If it comes down to these two you have to go with the guy who can get better at what he does as opposed to the guy who's best days are behind him.

Sometimes I like Jamie Dukes. And sometimes he just makes some points that are asinine so the rest of what he's saying can't be seen as anything worthy of listening to.

Dukes was on BaD Radio and he was going good until he got to the T.O. stuff...

On Romo...He's dead on. Romo has to stop with the stupid interceptions and he's going to be fine.

On Roy Williams...We won't know about him until next season. But we do know he needs to learn to shut his mouth.

On Terrell Owens...How can anyone try and find something beneficial in T.O. going on with Deion to complain about Jason Garrett after a huge road win over the Skins?

So now we have guys like Dukes spinning it every which way to try and defend T.O. because you don't want to admit that he has done anything wrong.

That's just plain stupid Jamie Dukes.

He's not the only problem, but he is one of the problems. To try and say EVERYTHING he does is the right move now makes all the rest of the stuff you say irrelevant.

the main problem to me, is no leadership from this team. Its kinda like landry said, you have to get the players to do something they dont like, which i mean, working hard, practicing hard and studying film. Just like jimmy johnson said, when he came here, fatigue will make cowards of you.

When your head coach, doesnt allow any workout in pads at all in december in 2007, which we saw the results in the playoff game against the giants in dallas. When that same head coach doesnt allow no hitting at all the first 25 days of training camp, and later that same head coach says, i am saving their legs.

When jerry jones allows that to happen, when jerry jones listens to the players coming to him complaining, and griping. When jerry jones allows hard knocks to come in and give distraction to the team,

when jerry jones comes on national air and says, i love media attention and all of this hoobla, then those are the problems on this team.

when the media tries to tell wade phillips something is wrong when the Commanders beat dallas in dallas, and good ole wade says, everything is ok, dont worry, get off of my back.

Now wade says, everything isnt ok, and changes will need to be made. That is wade phillips history, he does great his first year, because teams dont know him in your division, etc. And Parcells built this team on hard work, sweat, blood and tears, then the players griped, so good ole wade lets them not work.

What you got, then is the players were hardened for those first 12 games, but then their bodies got flabby, soft, etc from no hitting in practice, no pads, and you saw the results.

add all of these things, jerry jones, coach cupcake phililps, and the players that gripe and moan, for not wanting to work, its all of the above not just T O.

before jimmy johnson was hired, the last game of tom landrys era, Michael Irvin is upset about losing, he hates losing, some players told him, dont worry, you still will get your pay check tuesday. something like that.

when jimmy johnson was hired, and called michael irvin because he knew him, michael irvin pulled out his list of the players that really didnt care, and just there for a pay check.

jimmy johnson got rid of those players too and changed the culture of the team

thats the key, the culture of this team, the glitz, the players that are more interested in stats, money, pro bowl honors and dont have focus on football, those players need to be looked at real hard, and then a message sent to the team and the coaches, you had better work hard, and study, and show you care, or you wont be on this team.

just like on the plane ride back from the big beating the cowboys took from phily, a bunch of players were cutting up on the plane, laughing and having a good old time.

Darren Woodson, a future Hall of Famer, is right when he talks about icutting "the player".

I like what he says about Jason Garrett, too. The Cowboys need to hire a defensive coordinator who can be groomed by Phillips. Another set of eyes is needed. Hopefully, that person can be groomed for Jason Garrett.

I'm convinced Jason Garrett will be the next head coach in Dallas. The path, including problems in the lockerroom, will be cleared for him, imo.

I believe the team is stronger with TO on it and am not ashamed to support that belief. It just so happens that a large percentage of dc's posts are video or audio of something that always has to have his own little TO slant included. I actually enjoy reading the board and, up until a certain point, enjoyed his endless flow of a/v as well. Just as someone might say they hate to come to the board and see the "TO lovers" all over it the same can be said for the steady flow of "TO must go" threads. dc is a big boy. I'm not dishing anything he can't handle.
