Here's Goose Gosselin on Galloway and Company talking about how the spread offenses in college game are affecting the draft boards...

Goose on GAC

I am no Goose Gosselin, but I agree that there a lot of players in this draft who could wind up just being average.

I am not sold that Orakpo, Brown and Maybin can develop into great pass rushers in the NFL yet they are being touted as the best of the best in this draft.

The only WR I see that is a lock to be a #1 without a doubt is Crabtree.

Name the top CB? Three to five guys come to mind.

Take away the USC LB's and Aaron Curry is the only possible year one starter at that position in round one.

We could see a lot of 'risers' and 'fallers' on Saturday.

He had an interesting observation about "shorter" QBs in this draft, and the ripple effects of the spread offense in college football. Who was the last QB to win a Super Bowl who was 6'2'' or shorter?

Kurt Warner. Brett Favre was listed at 6'2, but he always appeared much bigger to me.

 oh noes!!!

Sadly it's true. We have a vertically challenged QB. Oh the shame. I need a time out to go cry for awhile.

Can I get a hug when I come back. From the chick who likes Harley's I mean.

So basically, it looks like a good year to NOT have a first round pick. So maybe, just maybe, GM Jerry Jones was planning ahead last year when he deicded it was worthwhile to give up that pick, in part, to trade for WR Roy Williams? Just maybe...?

I think so.

If R Williams can produce, this will go down as a good trade, esp given where we were to draft in Round 1.

The value in this draft, IMO, is esp good in Rounds 4-5. We have a ton of picks there.

Hopefully, we do fine this weekend.

I agree.

There is no WR in this draft that has the "measurables" that Roy Williams does.
