I guess maybe the nfl cracked down on them broadcasting the game for free on the cowboys app when that is exactly part of what the nfl is selling with the gamepass.

Of course it was a nice simple things for fans and free so the nfl had to take it away. The nfl hates its fans.

Does it come on those apps as soon as DC updates their app or is there a delay?

There is a delay but I don't know how long though.

Its still free you just have to do a little bit more than before
