Once we were established, im not sure if this team with the team they have, I don’t think the cowboys had a game like that, and I think no cowboys player would say they didn’t get beat that bad, even when the cowboys were 1-15.
I saw a lot of small things, felix jones who added a great dimension, put pressure on defenses, and his presence wasn’t put in proper perspective. We talked about leadership, and chemistry and adversity doesn’t build and all the injuries tough for team to overcome. Like the cowboys were self destructive, I always have said, adversity doesn’t build character it demonstrates it. And cowboys couldn’t overcome it.
Absolutely, finger pointing and can wear a team down. This is speaking from experience, like when I come in,, what is the cowboys biggest problem say for example instead of asking how to overcome eagles defense, but instead the cowboys players were asked by media why did this player do that or whatever. So, you lose your focus, but mentally you just say im tired and climate of in locker room isn’t there like it should be, you just have to fight through it and have leadership to overcome that.
