Norm talks Dan Reeves

The idea that Wade and Reeves are now going to be 'allies' really scares me a little. That means that Wade is still not in control and he now needs someone to back him up when he needs to stand up to Jerry.

That means Wade and Reeves have to both convince Jerry on something? Doesn't that just mean Wade is the defensive coordinator and there is no 'Head Coach' of the Dallas Cowboys?

I like Reeves doing something here, but I would much rather the head coach not have to have an 'allie' in dealing with Jerry Jones.

Norm mentions Martellus Bennett. I wonder if he saw Marty B's Youtube video? lol.

I am a little worried that Reeves being away from the game since 2003 is a detriment, but I do think he's going to earn the respect of the guys that don't know of him rather quickly.

Reeves is old school and that's a fact. If he has to be the 'bad guy' and get some discipline back into this team I just hope he is given enough rope to do so.

And I also think there is a very real possibility that Reeves is the backup plan should Wade start out 2009 with a few losses.

Mike make a great point about the idea that a team should be doing 'entertainment' things where you're 'hollywood' after you win something.

The problem is that being a Dallas Cowboy player means you don't even have to win anything to still be the talk of the sports world.

That needs to be posted somewhere in the Cowboys locker room next season.

The Dallas Cowboys players should all be forced to take a cruise together this offseason.

Where to? Who cares. I just want them all stuck on a ship together and then I want to see if they sink it or not.

If they don't sink it and they wind up coming back in two weeks then I can have a whole bunch of hope for 2009.

Of course Mike is backing away from the distraction thing, he's now a part of the distractions with his reality show. lol.

exactly DC, good ole wade is a cupcake as a coach, and thats the way he runs the team

when he has to have someone back him up, that isnt a head coach, and jerry jones will see through that

thats why there is no direction on this team, talking in the lockerroom

now at same time, most of this is jerry jones 's fault

because jerry jones walks all over the head coaches since jimmy johnson has left,

you cant run a team like that, till jerry jones realizes that, and has the players made accoutable, nothing will ever happen with this team

its like norm or goose said last night,there is a reason why this team runs the other way and falls apart in december, instead of jelling and being a tough team
