Troy was just on air with Mike and the Mad Dog....Didn't hear the whole thing, but it was live. One interesting thing I heard was that he said just a few minutes ago Bledsoe is still having back problems ???

Everywhere else I heard he was fine. Anyone else hear the interview, since I only heard a couple of minutes ?

September 15th - Chris and Mike talked about the NFL with Troy Aikman of Fox Sports

aikman is on every thursday morning with dunham and miller on the ticket, I think he said he thought his back must have been bothering him.

Also mickey was on with BAD Radio and he also said there has to be something wrong with his back and had a bad feeling about it...

IF, in fact, Bledsoe is having back troubles....that leash better be SHORT. No use having an immobile QB in there with back troubles. It can be more harm to the TEAM than anything else.

Well, I guess we'll see. IF he is way off again, and starts to warm up in the bench area, BP needs to step in and bench him. BEcause Bledsoe will be hurting the team, regarldless of what he thinks his job status would be if he sits.

Unless Bledsoe needs a total back replacement, Parcells will make him "go down with the ship"....unfortunetly!

If Bledsoe is still having back problems, where did Aikman get this current information from?????

I posted the other day about a post I read that said Troy was saying off the air Sunday that Bledsoe's back was bothering him and that it was more serious than a cramp or spasm.

I believe Troy knows something based on his contacts with the team and i wouldn't be surprised if we see Romo pretty soon.

I agree.

Troy also knows a thing or two about bad backs.

Yep, his Thanksgiving Day 1997 performance was Bledsoe-esque as he was playing through back spasms. All of his passes were high and off the mark.

Tennessee ran away with that game, and it was the beginning of the end for us.

from his pal JJ leaked it to him with the approval of BP:D

Troy seems to me like he tries to hard to not sound Bias towards the boys. For that he deserves a slap. He puts this team down a little to much...Hater:D

That's the thing that alot of people forget about Troy Aikman. Yes he had concussion problems, and the cheap shot by Arrington was the final straw, but Troy retired as much over his back problems as he did the concussion problems, and I would venture to say that it was moreso the back than the head. At one point, during his final season, Troy took his 3rd (and final) cortizone shot for his back to get through the game. I don't remember why but they explained in the telecast that a doctor would not give more than three cortizone shots to a patient. Troy took the final shot in a last desperate attempt to keep his back problem at bay, but it was dgenerating quickly and everyone, including Troy, knew it. That was TRULY the beginning of the end.

Wouldn't now be the time. The Commanders could be winnable w/Romo if our D gets right. Then you got a bye-week and then on to the Titans, Romo could play in that one as well. That should give Bledsoe some time to heal up if needed.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Should've been done sometime during the Jax game.

WHAT? You mean Troy can speak without bashing the Cowboys?!?!?!?!?!? Hahahahaha.

If this is true.....we need to be smart and rest Bledsoe!

The Cowboys need to sign a backup quarterback and let Bledsoe sit until he is healed. Thirty-four year old quarterbacks who are prone to take a lot of hits are very slow to heal, sometimes taking months.
