Everyone's favorite ESPN reporter Ed Werder calls into The Michael Irvin Show today...
Werder on Irvin Show
I agree with Werder. Garrett is the 'boss' because he's the freaking coach!!! T.O. can voice his concerns to his coach behind closed doors, but to go on TV and do it with Deion Sanders was nothing less than disgusting.
But you know what. That's old school thinking. Today we have too many fans who are in love with the idea that the players are the ones running the team. And a factor in that is the salaries that they are earning.
Now if this team had a head coach who would not tolerate this kind of BS the Cowboys would have straightened this out as soon as it was happening. But we don't and if things stay the same as they are we won't in 2009 either.
And yeah, Romo was just as wrong as T.O. was when he went to the podium after the Eagles beating and said the reason they lost was because of the scheme. If he starts talking like that on a regular basis he will be on my **** list as well.
Irvin respected his coaches. T.O. respects himself and that's it. He loves him some him.

Of course the Cowboys are going to be talking about each players role on the team and whether they fit in the future plans, but the Terrell Owens fans are so far gone they don't think those talks exist. They want to think he's untouchable, lol.
You know who's untouchable. Demarcus Ware. That's a guy who is untouchable.
Let me just say this. There are more people wanting Terrell Owens gone right now than there were at any other point in time since he's been here. That's saying something. Because we heard about his troubles of getting off the ball at the LOS against some CB's the people who used to give him the benefit of the doubt about his antics are now off the fence and are going along with the theory that it's time for him to go.
Can Roy Williams fill the #1 WR role? I don't know, but I am willing to take the chance on him because he's got obvious talent and we heard that he was nursing a foot injury late last season. Get him a full training camp with Romo and I think we will see a vast improvement of their effectiveness on the field.

Here's Troy Aikman on The Ticket talking about the Cowboys looking to get rid of Terrell Owens...

Troy is right. The information is right in front of them. You have seen him come out publicly and criticize his coaches and you have seen him place blame elsewhere instead of admitting that he's maybe slowing down a little.
Troy would not have had him as a part of the team.
That says a lot to me. I wish it would say something to Jerry.
TJ Housh. Please go get him Jerry. Find the money and let him, Romo, Witten, Roy, MBIII, Felix be the offensive foundation for the next five or six seasons.
