Werder on GAC
------------------------------

I know this info has been talked about on here in a few threads, but figured I would throw up the audio link.

I think those two having a meeting is a positive thing.

We haven't gotten many positive tidbits lately so let's enjoy it.

At what point does he start talking about the meeting?

I don't really care to sit here and listen to them all rag the Cowboys for 20 minutes.

Edit: To answer my own question, it's about 5 minutes in.

This is a good sign?

From what it sounds like, Garrett went and told several reporters that he met with Romo and told him he was wrong, that he screwed up by missing certain outlets, and should have taken the blame instead of shifting it to Garrett.

From Werder, this doesn't sound like they "aired it out" and are all buddy buddy now. Sounds like Garrett was just peeved that it ruined his chances at getting an HC job.

At one point you can literally hear Galloway trying to light his lighter and then exhaling some smoke.

:laugh2:

You make it sound like Garrett and Romo sat in the room and Garrett screamed at him while they were looking a film.

While it was probably more like a QB and his Offensive coordinator went over the game film from Philly and talked about how things could have been different if calls were different.

Think teacher and student. Not father and 3 year old kid.

And yet you are a great one for yelling out 'agenda' around here, lol.

'when does he start talking about Romo and Garrett, I don't feel like sitting here all day...'

You want some cheese to go with that 'whine'?

:bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

But, according to the Garrett apologists, the meeting hsould have lasted 2 seconds. "Romo, don't force the ball to TO. It makes my awesome play-calling look bad.""OK coach..."

lol

Dont think those two didnt mention 81.

I cant wait till he is on another team next year and when we play him, hopefully, all the people who say he is so great now will be dogging him then.

I heard that interview live, and I have to say I was thinking the same thing.

I can't prove it, but I still think RJ is quite the self-promoter to all the old media guys who were around back in the good ol' Glory Days.

I wouldn't doubt it if Garrett was the source for the report that Tony wasn't receptive to his criticism.

Sadly he will do to us what Randy Moss does to us every single time. Thankfully we get to wait at least another year before facing that possibility. ;)

That wouldn't make sense. Owens' problem seems to be with the scheme, not Romo.

Interesting listen. I'm going to listen to it again before I make any rash comments on it but i think everyone should listen cause it's a pretty interesting interview.
