It didn't look good for him. That was a serious concussion. He has had them in the past. They are banged up at running back.

No doubt he is in concussion protocol. It did look bad. Instantly. Clearly he will miss a few games. My guess is Washington plays it safe with him so he is healthy for the playoffs. I know Brian Robinson Jr. could be hurt also but that doesn't mean they can rush Ekeler back.

It isn't going to play out well. He has had plenty of concussions in the past. He should retire.

To protect itself, I am surprised that the NFL has not gone even farther with the concussion protocol.

Actually I would have thought if they were so worried about safety they would have a limit on how many concussions a player can have before he is medically retired

He had neck issues with the Chargers, there is no prior history with concussions for him. Has two this season though.

Dude was knocked unconscious on the field for a good minute or two.............that is his 2nd concussion this year, I think he needs to sit for a while.

Dont see how the NFL clears him for next week, he probably is going to miss a couple of games.

29 and had a pretty good career. Consistently gave Chargers 1,000 or nearly 2,000 total yards every season.

2 concussions in a single season - time to hang it up.
