Just heard this on ESPN Mike and Mike.Herm Edwards was talking about it.Anybody else hear this and how bad is it.Maybe sighing Bueress may not be so bad if Miles is going to be in and out of lineup like last year.

Unfourtunatley i see him doing just that this year. In and out. Hopefully dez wont do they same. Were playing teams with serious defenses this year and we need all weapons on deck. If we dont have them all were not gonna put up enough points.

From all accounts coming out of training camp it is minor but given last season situation they are just being overly cautious

He tweaked it again a few days ago. I agree, it might be a hampering problem all season long again. I suspect the coaches are watching the wire for available receivers, but Plaxico is not going to be one of them.

I'm fully on board with Sims-Walker. That move would take a decent receiving group one of the best in the NFC

Austin will play 12 games this year tops. He's just not tough enough to handle it.

I don't think toughness has anything to do with it.

Hamstring injuries are not something to be sneezed at. The toughest NFL players in history could play with a bad hamstring and still appear to be running around the field with a bad wheel.

Maybe a flat tire would have been a better analogy.

Clearly, there is a need for quality depth. There is no doubt he will not stay healthy for 16+ games. If he is out, who do we have beside Dez? Gotta do something.

Yeah, I don't either - either your hamstring works or it does not!

I would go ahead and sign plax. The guy still can play and just make his contract conditional. Mike Sims Walker would be another good play as well.

didn't miles hurt his hammy in training camp last season or was it during the season? I remember he hurt both hammies last season:bang2: . What are the odds. And now he hurts it again this season. Does he stretch right? With all that money the cowboys paid him he needs to hire someone to stretch him out if he is going to be lazy stretching.

Plax wants too much money. I would have rather got TO for veteran minimum. Its better to wait til after week one and sign a vet with no guaranteed money. I SAY WE BRING BACK NEWMAN TO PLAY WR!!! LOL HES GOOD ON MADDEN LOL

But some can play through the pain. i don't think austin can. All these tremendous NFL athletes, sure have a lot of issues with their bodies that football players in the 70's/80's didn't.

There is a thing called too much training.

We knew that last year and yet we let Laurent Robinson, who's arguably a better receiver, walk. I know that this is a business and all that, but that's hard to understand when we have zero depth at the position. Stephen Jones wants to pay $3M tops for a 3rd receiver, but he fails to grasp that we need a 2nd receiver for 1/2 a season anyway.

Did you really just say LR is a better receiver than Miles? Laughable. LR did nothing before Romo and according to early reports out of jags camp he's doing nothing there. Romo made him with his ability to prolong plays and deliver accurate balls.

Miles might be better if healthy, but it's hard to help out the team on the tub. History says Miles misses at least 3 games a season. He put back to back seasons in 2009 and 2010 and reverted back to his old self in 2011. What are the odds he'll last the season? And last year LR had a better season statiscally than Miles. And Romo's ability should be the same to all concerned, otherwise Roy Williams shoulda been all pro in his time here.
