Been looking around various sites and the consensus seems to be MCL grade I, at worst low grade II; MRI will confirm that today or tomorrow.

So he will be out the rest of the preseason and might be back for game 1.

Bad in that he seemed to really be busting out; good in that now we can see the rest of the young guys and really get a good read on them.

As long as he's able to return and play the majority of the season (hopefully at least 3/4), I'll be more than happy. I always fear the worst with these things.

that is what Clarence hill said in the star telegram. I wonder where they got that from? I thought he would have an mri today and they would tell us monday? It is pretty obvious he wont play again in the preseason but calling him out for cleveland seems like they are speculating.

Johnson and improving backup receiver Miles Austin did the rest, connecting on a 37-yard pass down the right sideline, then getting the touchdown on a stop fade route in the end zone.
Austin, however, sprained his MCL in the game and is out two to four weeks. He will likely miss the season opener.

I didnt realize they have already given the results of an untaken test.

have to love the star telegram.

Crap. Hope to hear something more positive soon. Hopefully the test will say otherwise.

We've been fortunate as far as injuries go.

i can't help but remember all the dorkwads who came in here all happy another team (eagles and skins to be specific) had some injuries. it was all cool and all good. now that we're having the same thing, i'll bet injuries are not as funny now.

seriously wait till rampage logs on. he is going to blame the injury on me and he maybe right.

it maybe time to burn the editing setup, or start making videos of the birds in my yard eating at the bird feeders.

It may be time to add dynamite to this room.

We took some dings last night but overall we have been lucky. Nothing season ending (except maybe the kid with the shoulder seperation and he was a long shot to make the team anyway). Burnett being out gives Carp his shot at showing he was worth the draft pick and he will be back in time for the season or most of it anyway.

It is really too bad about Austin. He looked like he might start to challenge for the #2 job and I think he had likely already moved up to #3 had he not gotten injured. I was really getting excited about him.
